Re: EBAY Prices

I’ve found that forums for any specific interest (be it watches, camping/outdoor gear or other hobbies I have been interested in in the past) seem to be kind to their fellow members as far as selling prices are concerned. eBay often tends to be the other way around. My thinking is that a significant...

Re: Next CW sale?

I’m just hoping there is an interesting variety of 38mm watches, these would be ideal for me ;-)

Re: How hard can it be to choose a strap!

I find I change my straps nearly as frequently as I change my watches! I am happy to either wear the same watch for a week or more, but swap straps from day to day (or even during the day if needed) to match the occasion/function, or keep each watch on one strap and rotate watches through the day/we...

Re: Brand loyalty

I’m a CW fan. I’m still trying to increase/balance my collection so am still adding new watches from time to time. I currently own 4 CW models.

As and when I feel the urge to add a new genre I do always, always check the CW range first.

Re: bronze watch cases

I’m still keeping finders it comes in a 38mm size. I’d love a Bronze in my collection, but anything under 40mm is like trying to find hen’s teeth! Hoping CW can buck this trend...

Re: General Servicing & Battery Replacement

If you are after waterproofing, and if you intend to use the watch for more than just the occasional dunking in the sink when washing the dishes, then I would definitely send it to CW for a new battery. I have a couple of local jewellers who use from time to time. One does have access to a pressure ...

I don’t have any type of GMT in my collection, yet. This version looks fantastic, I hope you get to enjoy it plenty :-)

It is well worth a check I think. If it means that much to you then it will be worth it.
Hope it all ends well,

Re: More 38mm choice..

36mm to 39mm seems to be my sweet-spot.

I have deep respect for the CW brand and really enjoy their designs on my wrist. I’d happily have my entire collection from the range if each model came in their smaller sizes...

Re: New Trident

I have both a new logo and old logo version.
I am finding that the old logo was a firm favourite to begin with, but the new one is definitely growing on me now. I'm happy with either.

Re: Do we love watches like we love people?

I think it depends on your definition of "love". I admire my watches, I respect their manufacturers, their horological history and take pride in knowing that I am wearing a piece of mechanical craftsmanship in my wrist. I never fail to be amazed by how a bunch of springs and cogs can slice time up s...

Re: Does anyone ever notice/comment on your CW watch?

My Trident Vintage gets a lot of positive comments whenever I wear it. I have a habit of chopping and changing my straps on whatever watch I wear so I rarely go out with the same watch, let alone the same strap. I love the way this gives one watch more wearing options. The thing is, few people I kno...
