Re: CW January 21 sale reboot
What I would love to know is how many people that moan about missing out due to ‘scalpers’ have actually put their own money/remortgaged their house etc... and had the ball5 to set up and run a business and make a success of it. I’d wager not many, most work for someone else, draw their wage and job...
Re: NFL
Wow! Ever seen a start to a game like that?!
Re: NFL
Meant to ask you this last week, Guy. Do you not wish you’d have had a few quid? It’s not impossible for em at the moment - can’t see Rams beating them next week

Re: NFL
Well, no surprises for me so far in Wild Card Weekend. Hoping Cleveland can go on in the next game as they’ve not been here for a number of years but not sure they’ll have enough. Not that it makes any difference as they wouldn’t get past Kansas next week anyway.

Re: 2021 Omega Speedmaster Master Chronometer
Maybe it's just carefulness with non screw down controls. Bruce Williams was discussing WR on his channel the other day while reviewing his speedy and he had no issue with holding his speedy sapphire sandwich under a running tap to give it a clean. Some watchers were surprised he would do that. I r...

Re: My Purchase from the Mappin & Webb Sale...
Something that I have noticed... That COSC & Warranty Registration booklet looks like the other half has been torn off. I would ask the seller whether they filled that in on your behalf and sent it off to Bremont. If they haven't then I would be questioning where it is and what has happened to it. ...

This one is still dominating wrist time - worn daily since purchase 7A39CD68-A4F3-40B3-9786-451640BB5C0A.jpeg As it should! The El Primeros are beautiful watches. Enjoy it. Cheers Andrew. The only issue is that I need to sell some to fund it but when I pick the camera up to take some pics to prepar...

Re: My Purchase from the Mappin & Webb Sale...
Thanks for that, guess I should contact Bremont re the certificate then... With older stock Bremonts which I presume yours is having bought in the sale, you will receive the COSC cert with a leather luggage tag in a little box after registering the watch with Bremont. With newer models there is no ...

Re: Bracelet/Leather pricing
Having just purchased a Bremont I was wondering the same about their straps - £175 for a leather strap PLUS £85 for a buckle seems like a lot compared to CW - does the quality justify the price? In my opinion/experience Bremont leather straps are fantastic - I have 6 of them, 5 calf and one alligat...

Re: Tudor observations and your input requested
The Tudor leather strap, whilst nice looking, falls apart quickly My observations are all based on the 41mm but should be relevant to the BB58 too, I think. Firstly, sorry but I don’t agree with this statement. I’ve had this from brand new, April 2015. It was worn all day every day for 2 years on t...

Re: My Purchase from the Mappin & Webb Sale...
Forgive my ignorance about Bremont watches, but is that case design common across the whole range? Very cool! I’ve just updated my comment to put a pic on for you  Excellent, thank you! That’s quite distinctive, in a very striking way. And how was I not aware of this before now?! And, as I...
