Re: Expensive ETA

My original Black Bay is an ETA, Bremont based on ETA, IWC have ETA movements (I believe downers has an ETA in it). There are many more that could be mentioned. I don’t see the issue, but a lot of ‘WIS snobs’ look down their nose at them. I prefer ETA/Selitta base due to cheaper and easier servicing...

^^^Chris, you got me....I definitely do.
What is it about this 'addiction' that makes people with Panerai, Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Bremont, Grand Seiko etc.. 'have to have' a 500 odd quid quartz?! Makes no common sense, but makes perfect sense to us

[emoji57][emoji850] Wow, that was fast  I must admit I too am tempted as I don't have a chrono in the collection and have been looking for a legible one for a while. This might fit the bill. Interestingly the video on the Farer webs...

Tan Barenia leather for me Chris...

My delivery will be a good two weeks later than yours due to distance though... [emoji51]
My leather option would be perforated Jeans, and I'm torn between blue or orange rubber. Decisions Decisions!

Re: watch strap question

I would agree, however I have used the Hirsch performance leather straps in water without issue and here is the screen shot from the CW page which certainly implies they are waterproof. I think the glue coming away on my strap is directly related to pool use, but the creasing of the leather may not...

Re: London Calling. CW's new advertising campaign

I have to get the train down to Euston next Saturday, then the tube/s across to Ealing so I’m gonna be keeping my eye out. My last visit down there in October I didn’t see anything, but probably because I’m usually having more fun knocking people over walking into me that aren’t looking where they a...

Hope everyone that goes has a good time. I’m disappointed I can’t make it due to timings. I was really looking forward to getting Guy up to do the Macarena, as requested by several on you tube in Edinburgh!
