Re: Delivery timescales

I think it'll help to get it expedited. Good luck. Exactly. Email them to check on status. In my case, I emailed Scott who was the CW Logistic Manager, now resigned and Kyran replaces him. He updated the status of my order. [update]: After two weeks in custom, my watch C65 SH21 finally cleared for ...

Hold on!
There will be many ideas until the FLE is realized or dies (I hope not)
That’s the problem, idea after idea after idea. There’s too many things going on for my liking I’m afraid

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

I remember a little more unification on nice designs in the past but this is certainly a different approach. I'm like this right now keeping up.... I’ve only been part of one on the past, the 2017, but there certainly seamed more structure and unity to get it sorted in a constructive manner...

Re: Punching an extra hole in straps

I have the same and it works perfectly as long as you’re not yet at the part of the strap where the padding kicks in. Remember to measure twice, punch once, and don’t forget if you measure mid-hole to mid-hole, that point is the middle of the punch, not the edge. Sounds obvious but the first time I...

IF THE HOMBRE DIAL CAN ONLY BE USED ON A TRIDENT PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES FOR THIS SUGGESTION
I don’t think it’s been mentioned whether it’s possible or not so, although not something that interests me one bit, a valid suggestion in my opinion.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

Looking at a pre-Christmas purchase of one of these but not sure which, so will take a few weeks to mull them over. The Halios would be a pain to source though so they could fall out of contention 20191017_133913.jpg I think the little Farer is a stunning little dress watch style watch. My favourit...

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

^^ you can leave all my submissions out of there as they are not approved. Kip will blow a fuse when he has to look at those again. Very well, I guess the forum just wants a color variation of an existing model. I deleted my posts so i won't upset anybody. Good luck! It would have been helpfu...

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

If I were to go for a FLE, I think it would have to be the Dartmouth. I think changes that move the character of the original too far means it's no longer a Dartmouth and instead a (still possibly very attractive) C65 variant. I don't think the FLE should (or would be allowed) to end up being a top...

Re: Rolex: OP39 v Explorer1

Rolex prices and availability as a result are crazy. Although I have made a bit of money on a couple it is a bit annoying. I am currently enjoying a Milgauss. I was looking at flipping quickly, but have found that I really like it. Could this be an option instead of a explorer? they seem to be good...

Re: FLE #8 design submissions

This is starting to get a little daft if I’m honest. The 2 models were voted on and all we are doing now is trying to push the boundaries on one of them to try and cause controversy. Yes, some of the designs are very nice, particularly the GMT with steel bezel, but not what was voted for. Things are...

I asked the same Q - to be raised in the next CWL open session - the cognescenti on here suggest it only happens with PayPal purchases - but I'm not convinced ... Out of interest, I’ve just logged into my account and looked at my orders page. It does seem that the Paypal theory is correct, certainl...
