Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

Erm.... chronograph with GMT function (not just 24-hour repeater). I'm looking at Sinn, Omega, Chopard, possibly Breitling and looking for others to consider. I'm not looking at Rolex, Invicta or anything digital or battery operated. It might be older - such as an Omega Flightmaster, it might be ne...

Re: Mind the gap?

Sorry, Patrick, but I’m with Guy and Phil here. That gap would drive me nuts. I dropped one of my 20mm Havestons onto my MB2 to see what it looked like - it lasted all of about 3 minutes before I took it off due to the gap. Lovely strap though, would go great with the green barrel of my MB2

Re: Exchanging Trident MK3

Give Declan the Head of CS post, take on more staff, let him remodel the whole department! And a few more technicians by the sound of it too. He can also do the showroom! Just get Wera back. I don’t care what anyone tries to tell me, things have been going steadily downhill for the last coupl...

Re: New G-02 diver from Geckota 40mm

I accidentally stumbled upon their watches collections range after checking out their straps. My initial thought is that they produce high quality watches with very nice looking design, both the case and the dial. The dial especially. The brand name is not only maintain the watch balance, but the f...

Re: Post a picture from your latest ride

Great buy, she looks fantastic. I’ve been looking at the Stealth Black lately myself but house renovations take priority financially at the moment. Next year hopefully. Might even be able to stretch to the interceptor twin in orange by then :D Have a look here, Chris... https://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

What are thoughts at the moment and has Ross’s response since, made you feel more comfortable? His communication over the last couple of days has been a lot better. I think he knows he stuffed up last week. I just wish he would have admitted it to his backers. I think he is doing in a roundabout wa...

Top notch, Steve.

Welcome to the world of the modern automatic gearbox car. Do you have paddles for manual shifting?

Thread revival - picked it up this morning. Very nice. Pity it's not a day for joy-ride!

Many thanks to Tiger Chris and all others who made very helpful suggestions. :D
Enjoy Steve

Re: Welcome letter dropped?

I’ve had a letter with all 7 CW purchases I’ve made, the last one being in January of this year. It would be a shame if it’s been dropped, as Paul has said, it was a nice touch.

Re: Smiths Vanguard anyone?

I’ve worn my C7 auto chrono today as the Smiths would have replaced it. Decided to stick with the C7 - I like the case too much to part with it yet. The big draw for me with the Smiths is simply the word ‘England’ on the dial. I shall keep looking for my perfect fit watch with England on the dial. I...

Re: Smiths Vanguard anyone?

Damn! Didn’t know anything about them - Off to the site I go to take a look Edit: Just been to have a look, tried adding the black to the basket but sales on hold until all existing purchases have been shipped - maybe up to 2 weeks If you follow Eddies forum pages (he is Swanbourne - check out mess...
