Astor+Banks Sea Ranger

Anybody else order the Astor+Banks Sea Ranger today via Kickstarter? The Worn & Wound review was great and with them being local to me, I decided I had to have one. He sold through the first 50 at $575 within 2 hours, so not quite the Halios craziness of minutes, but I don't think he's got a hard li...

Re: How did you first hear about Christopher Ward

Started out looking for a diver to celebrate a promotion about three years back. CW was on a lot of lists for best < $1000 diver and so I started browsing and fell in love with the Red/White 38mm Trident GMT. As my mom's family is originally from Little Horwood Bucks just 30 some odd miles North of ...

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services

Gotta be a record? 7 weeks for a battery change? Took 3 days to have a “technician” at a jewellers to do the wife’s battery change. Wonder why they’re not taking on staff? It is so flipping simple to solve this. Day 1 A watch comes in for battery change. Logged and put in queue. Day 2...

So what will they do once they get your email address of you? No company details of any sort available. Will I get one watch or two? Guy PS > What a load of claptrap. Re: Revenge?

Is this for real???? Sent from my Redmi Note 6 Pro using Tapatalk Sadly I believe so. It is made from the same material as the real thing: leather, metal and glass. You couldn't make this ad copy up if you tried. How they describe the quartz movement might be the best part, though. I was wearing my...

Re: Minis

Oh my goodness is that perfect! My R52S "Charlotte" really needs a good washing. Our new hound enjoys riding in the front seat all harnessed in that I'm relegated to the back when my wife drives. Anybody that's ever taken the back in a MINI cabriolet knows how tight that is! Especially an R52 as th...

Due to test-drive an R53 in a week or two.
Definitely a fun car. My friend has the R53 and R56 and prefers the 53 to drive. If it's in good shape it will be a blast.

Revenge?

This is way too good not to share. Facebook thought I'd be interested in it. Maybe their algorithm has a sense of humor. I bring you Revenge Watches. Even my wife who largely rolls her eyes when I talk watches loved this! It must be the social value I'd get from wearing it. http://revengewatches.com/

Toured that brewery a number of years back! Good memory, that. I think I have that glass in the cupboard still!

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

By the end of this sorry saga ( four months plus ) the Customer Service Manager would neither take my phone calls nor respond to my requests that he contact me. He was always conveniently in a meeting when I called and requests for him to call me back were ignored. If I were Mike or Chris and saw t...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Have any of the more local members met Katrina? These responses she's quoted in (constantly now) seem to feel like a artificial intelligence responder like a customer service chat bot. Having run technical support these unforced errors by a company whose products I love makes my heart hurt. They sho...

Re: What size is your wrist size?

I'm usually near the smallest hole on CW straps. But for me, the attractive 38mm watch offerings are what keep me and the straps can be sorted later. It would be great to have well fitting straps right from the start though for those of us with smaller wrists.
