Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Not necessarily wishful thinking Frank. Since the thread that you linked being started a year ago, CW have taken on board the desire for a Field / Military watch (or may well have been thinking of it prior) and are due to release a ranges of watches this autumn, that have full approval of the Briti...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Another question is whether CW had access to any other case hardening treatments/scratch resistant coatings that keep the steel color?

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Kip, throwing out another idea completely different here but do notice a number of comments stating “yet another diver”. Is it possible to make a “field watch” with the 40mm C60 case with crown guards. Essentially the C65 vintage in a larger size with crown guards and more of a “sporty” “field” dial...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

The "ghosted" logo as you call it is the embossed logo. Pretty much cost prohibitive. Referring to just printing the logo white which I believe is how the twin flag logo is on the C60 no? Embossing would be the twin flag logo on the C65 diver. Either way, I don't see CW willing to print it white on...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

A bit confused here. I have looked again at the voting and whilst it is clear that the favoured combination would appear to be a 42 mm GMT with the two tone bezel, I noticed that all the mock ups being featured show a white dial. I didn’t see any option to vote for that, so I am wondering if there ...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

I'd also get rid of the word 'AUTOMATIC' and replace it with 'TRIDENT' I agree it needs to be changed, however I will not be doing that on this particular mock up. That area is very heavy on shadows that would need to be replicated --> too time consuming for little change. Just squint a little bit ...

@srs1286 - Any possibility please Scott, of a third version of red on the seconds hand with the red section being on the tip and the lume filled circle, but not down the rest of the shaft.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

These are looking great. Unless things change dramatically then I’m probably in for one of these. Would prefer the standard logo though, I’m not concerned by it and wouldn’t want to pay £200 just to make it less noticeable. I think the black logo fits the overall design with black accents everywher...

^^^ Looks great Scott. Just need to change to a 2-tone bezel now and voila
I'm staying out of the legibility issue on this one.

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

Here's the black hands / markers version I posted pages back. Left the seconds hand steel and per StrappedUp's suggestion, color matched the base of the gmt hand to the dial.

Re: Mystery of website watches all showing same times?

In CW's lineup, you'll notice that the forward facing shots are all positioned exactly the same as they are photoshopped / computer generated. If you look at the actual press shots (the wrist shots, etc.) you'll see some variances. Feel like I can speak to this as most of the photoshopping I do on t...

I also thought the PVD hands / indicies / logo looked good with the standard black bezel. Would definitely be a cheaper option.
A single color bezel has no effect on our price.
Good to hear. All dark grey then is my personal front runner.
