Re: They're destroying my roof

when we got our new roof 20 years ago, i was working from home that day. i actually went up and sat on the roof and watched them work for a bit. had to go up there anyway to show him where i wanted him to install the skylights, so i just stayed for a bit.

Re: What’s your collection size?

i'm lucky enough that my wife has been an enabler. i have four watches she's bought for me. aqua terra, c60 jag FLE, helson blackbeard, and a magrette (that's on the chopping block). plus she bought me the machinist chest that all my watches and paraphernalia are in.

Re: What’s your collection size?

good Q.

i'm down to 21 after buying one and selling 5, but two of those are still on the block. there are a couple of other crappy old precollecting watches with so little value they're not worth selling or counting in my collection, i just don't know what to do w/them.

thanks. the name comes from when a Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl, along with a crew of 5, drifted and sailed on “Kon-Tiki,”’ a balsa-wood raft, from Peru to the Polynesian Islands in 1947. been wearing this for a week now. tried it on a couple of different nato straps. need to sit down and adjust the bracelet (buyer has meathook wrists, not like my dainty 7.25" / 185mm wrists. Early 1970s Eterna Kontiki Super. just a civilian version (i probably couldn't justify the cost for an I...
