In real life, real size, I hardly noticed it.
I was the opposite. The didn't like it in images and hated it in real life. Couldn't see anything else BUT the unbalanced layout and gap at 12. Maybe it's just me.
It's not just you, same as me and some others I'm aware of.

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Well this made me laugh. How is a forum admin supposed to solve CS issues?!? That’s nuts. It’s bad enough people are getting the showroom manager involved. Can I generally recommend people call instead of email? Email is increasingly unreliable. Personally I have had several conversations and inter...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

"Mike France has already issued a statement. I am certain he has discovered that not all old issues have been resolved, despite what he stated" Then why did he state it ? Who gave him the information or impression that all old issues had been resolved? "When considering the volume of watches that CW...

Re: CWL of the day

After a 4 month service and return process, the Chrono is back on the wrist! chrono.jpg 4? four? 16 weeks? Four months? Unfortunately, yes  On a quartz movement watch. I'd like to see that send date, arrival date, sitting in a box, service performed, sitting a box, despatched, return...

I know this is all personal preference. We like what we like and none of us are wrong.
Couldn't agree more, with this bit anyway. It also holds true for what we dislike.

Re: Exchanging Trident MK3

Based on the current 'noise' on the forum being all about bad after sales service, it seems we have gone from 1 SPOF (single point of failure) in Wera, to another SPOF in Declan. Unfortunately, the new SPOF doesn't even work in the Customer Services team as Showroom Manager, so are customers worse ...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

By the end of this sorry saga ( four months plus ) the Customer Service Manager would neither take my phone calls nor respond to my requests that he contact me. He was always conveniently in a meeting when I called and requests for him to call me back were ignored. If I were Mike or Chris and saw t...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

^^^^ Sounds iffy. So within 3 hours it’d been examined by a technician and knew how much it was to fix? Whilst people wait weeks for a diagnosis? That is extraordinary. And no you don’t pay upfront. Are they going completely loopy now? Like you I only own one and would like to get another. But don’...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

Maybe more staff training or different staff is the answer. I remember just after Wera retired, I had a small problem with much to and froing. Chris himself got involved. Near the end, they actually sent the wrong watch entirely. When I told Chris, his email said “Bang, Bang - that’s the sound of m...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

They should know every watch in and where it is in the queue at every second. Given some of the e-mail replies I received when I enquired as to when I could expect the return of my wife's watch, they obviously don't. "I will need to look into this for you as the watch should have been back in your ...

Re: Mike France interview on Scottish Watches podcast

Sorry but I got fed up with this after 5 mins but stayed on till about 25mins, Why early on are they talking about sitting and crashing in their own cars while Mike France is having to hang on in silence and then they're off in their own thoughts about beating Gardeners World ! What has that got to ...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

In the topic "Is this really customer service" I wrote a few points, 1 of which is below. 5. There cannot be any CS fault logging process in use at CW. If there is 1 in place then nobody in CW or Repairs is using it to log status or communications. This is not rocket science. Many of us on this Foru...
