Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition

I think the 54mm lug-to-lug must be a typo. The standard 42mm C60 Mk3 has a L2L of 49.3mm and it's difficult to understand why this would be so much (or any) longer. Even the C60 Mk2 Chronograph only had a L2L of 51.5mm. Yeah that can't be right. My 43mm C60 Trident Pro SH21 is 51.5mm and the 44mm ...

Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000

I would send it back for repairs just so the issue is documented in case of further warranty issues with the movement. Otherwise this could be a slippery slope for customer service to suggest that the watch was subjected to abnormal wear and deny a warranty claim. When the winding wheel of my Malver...

Better still would be to leave the valve off altogether, as it will serve no practical purpose. :)

Neil
Bingo. The He valve is completely unnecessary considering 99% of divers don't even saturation dive and the watch only goes to 300M.

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August

Wow that price. I can't even sell my mint condition red bezel C60 Trident Pro COSC SH21 for $1250. At $4k, there are a lot better divers from Tudor or Omega. Your path would appear to be a simple one then. Don’t buy it. :D You don't have to tell me twice. I've always been the only proponent for CW ...

any experience if they restock anything? just curious...
I've been tracking this sale and it doesn't seem like they've restocked in the past 24 hours.

I was really hoping for an old C9 5 Days Small Seconds in the 50% off or 40% off NN sections. The hunt continues :problem:

Re: Possible Trident MKII 43mm to Trident MKIII 42mm case swap?

I think that’s something for a local independent watchmaker... I wonder would they sell you the parts? Mail my the case? Not much in it for them other than a satisfied customer... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I remember someone stating that CW would swap a watch to a new case for a service fe...

Possible Trident MKII 43mm to Trident MKIII 42mm case swap?

Does anyone know if CW would be able to swap the SH21 movement in my current Trident Pro 600 COSC into the 42mm case of the new Tridents? I like my watch but the large case size is the only thing that keeps me from loving it. I prefer the older logo and hands so I would want to keep the dial and han...

Hmm dead silence on this topic it seems. There's no doubt it's a very similar caliber given the exact same shape of the chronograph activation fork and some of the bridges.

Re: C9ss issue

From complete stop, was winding to wear (this is a manual wind, not auto). I got to about the 20th turn, and felt a springy pop. Second hand started for a few seconds when I gave it a light shake, then stopped. I think it’s broke. Sound like 60:60 to me. Bummer since I had sent it back to be inspec...

Re: C60 Bronze?

I know I’m late to this discussion but has anyone seen the bronze Trident in the flesh yet. This for me is my next big purchase and would love some feedback if anyone has any. I've seen the case with glass at the showroom. It wasn't a complete watch so no dial/movement as it had been put together i...

Re: Trident bezel not unique to CW?

Is not the same: The bezel as half number of grooves as the trident one. The insert has the minute markers 1 to 4 6 to 9 and 11 to 14 thinner as the 5, 10 and 15 ones. In the Trident they are the same width. The pip is larger and seemingly level with the insert while in the trident is smaller ad ta...

Trident bezel not unique to CW?

An article today on Time + Tide features a Raymond Weil diver watch that has a ceramic bezel that's a dead ringer to the ones on the Trident.

It's a little off-putting knowing that the bezel doesn't seem to be unique to CW when every other part seems to be of CW design.
