Never thought I'd see Hamilton working at Maranello and it's already paid for based on todays share price spike.
They'll need to get their house in order on the pitwall if it happens.

Re: Summer sale ?
Wow, "Sale" prices are not far off full retail prices from 3 or 4 years ago.
Yes I know inflation, supply chains etc but I'm pretty sure plenty of C60 & C65 autos pre covid were <£300.
Not knocking anyone who has bought something today, just not for me.

Costco selling precious metals
Admittedly not watch related, although overpriced Oris, Hamilton & TAG watches were in the same cabinet.
These were in Costco Chester when I popped in yesterday, just quite surprised to see them there.

Re: Forum slow at the moment?
Definitely feels like your server doesn't have enough resources available with slow loading and time outs - if that's what the problem is, it's an easy fix, assuming CW are happy to pay a little bit more.

I don't know of exact PP models, but looks very much like a 5033.

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread
Jura had a similar sale a few weeks ago and I briefly contemplated buying a couple of watches, until I remembered my last dealings with them. Wrong item delivered, poor comms, replacement that was in stock was actually out of stock. They also have a habit of being slow to refund customers. In the en...

Re: Experience of the eBay Authentication Service
I sold a few watches last year that were in the region of £1500 and I deliberately kept them under the threshold to keep others away from interfering with them, suffice to say buyers were happy and I had the peace of mind knowing what was inside the box. It's probably cost me a bit in potential sale...

Re: Let's hear it for the Royal Mail/Parcel Force
Quick update on the 'delivered' item that wasn't delivered to me. Very little progress other than RM confirmed the item was delivered to the wrong address using GPS info at the point of delivery. Further investigations confirm it was sent to a bulk carrier and they intend to re-deliver it, however t...

Re: F1 2022 / 2023 Motorsport Thread
Not long now to the lights go out and the racing starts. Hopefully it will be a closer at the top of the table. Anyone playing fantasy F1 this year ? Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk As it happens I created a league for my car forum on Thursday, but happy to do another for here. Max of 3 teams p...
