Re: Barton Elite Silicon

At the time (April) it cost me $18 delivered with no additional fees - delivery took approx. 10 days and arrived via Royal Mail. Went with them as my Tudor Bronze has a 23mm lug which as you know isn't the most common.

Re: Barton Elite Silicon

I have 2 silicon Barton straps - one direct from the US, the other from Amazon in the UK. Both are nice, soft and comfortable. The one from the US came with a free shorter version of the strap which was a nice surprise along with a Barton straps sticker - the one from Amazon UK didn't and was either...

Re: Non CW of the Day

Fitted this elastic nato to the Kontiki last night. https://www.watchgecko.com/french-style ... -zuludiver
Comfortable on the wrist, but a bit of a faff to fit compared to a standard nato.

Re: C.Ward Market Survey

A handy tip that a friend of ours does to see which companies sell her email address on. She has her own domain name with email service that just has the one email address. When she's asked for her email address in a shop such as Currys she will give her email as currys@herdomain.co.uk Any email the...

Re: C.Ward Market Survey

CW are naturally GDPR compliant. Can't help but smile at that comment Guy - I'm not suggesting they are in breach of GDPR, but knowing how complex GDPR is and how much of a calamity CW have been recently, I wouldn't be that confident! Oh and yes, received and deleted - they've had plenty of feedbac...

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread

I think Magnussen was already confirmed for '20.
Hulk could go back to Williams, although I suspect not - he was once on pole for them in Brazil many years ago.

More likely to be Nicholas Latifi if he can bring some $$$.

Re: Trident Elite 1000 LE - running slowly - advice please

Probably just a mistake - but the Ombre that I returned (model released late 2018) had a COSC certificate dated from 2015 2014! That can be perfectly normal....it's only the movement that is certified minus hands, face rotor and often date wheel/function. They are not certified after casing...

Re: Trident Elite 1000 LE - running slowly - advice please

Hi Paul, That's a good question re. COSC certificate. I just assumed that something had happened to my watch whilst in transit. When a watch is regulated, I'd expect a print out from a timegrapher, showing how the watch is performing. I can't really give CW deadlines; they fail to meet their own! I...

Nice addition that, but it's not from Yorkshire so must be...

Is the crown standard - seems unusual to see stainless against a black case?

Re: 60|60 Watch Guarantee - Service Requirement

They don't help themselves by making subtle changes without informing customers, then giving contradictory info eg. Trident Mk III handbooks from May '19 showing new info, that's only been updated on the main CW website recently. All this at a time when general customer service and watch servicing h...

Just honest Steve with no agenda. For me at least I've had too many issues with QC and customer service in 2019 and I vote with my wallet.
