I can't see it breaking the internet i'm afraid, but then it's not really the type of watch I would go for.

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

At present I don't believe that the 'new' 60/60 (48) would apply as the terms in the handbook contradict what's stated throughout the website (apart from the handbook pdf's). If would be buyers are encouraged to 'Do Your Research' then everything on the CW website proudly talks about the benefits an...

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

Agreed - 'we recommend' in the past has changed to 'you must' now. A significant change, which the website, email and marketing appears to have ignored.

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

Not seen any documentation previously insisting on a service within the warranty period - so unless this service is free, which it doesn't appear to be then that's a significant change. My perception (as a customer) is CW are advertising a 5 year warranty, but I have to pay for a service in the firs...

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

Marketing email received today pushing Fathers Day - no mention of a service requirement in the 60/60. https://i.ibb.co/72tmtRh/cw-marketing.png The discover more link takes you to: https://www.christopherward.co.uk/cservices/60-60-guarantee which also doesn't insist on a service before it's 4 years...

Re: Nearly New watches onsite 2

They seem to be clearing out as much as they can @ 30% and then most likely will drop what's left in a bigger sale @ 50% imho. In general consumers typically look for a deal. If they follow the CW mantra of “do your research” I wonder what proportion pay full, or near full, price for CW watches the...

This seems to happening nearly every Monday now. It begs the question of where all this ‘nearly new’ stock is coming from?

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

This thread is going to run and run - whichever way you position it Guy, 4 years is not 60 months. How other companies position themselves regarding the duration of warranty is up to them, but CW a make a big thing of 60/60, when really it is now 60/48. https://www.christopherward.co.uk/cservices/6...
