7/34 : Citizen AT8185-71E Hakuto-R Limited Edition With a few days delay today the Hakuto-R limited to 1600 worldwide. Unfortunately, the images are not of the usual quality because the light environment was not ideal. It will now take some time before the next watch can show you, and that depends ...

Re: Postale watch straps
That's a great match up for your Bloxworth, Des. I think a similar strap would go well on my RNLI Canford, which I routinely wear on one of EB's orange rubber straps. Guy Sent from my XPERIA 5 III using Tapatalk If he would do it, I reckon a fade out black RNLI on orange might look great on the Can...

Re: New pinion
That dial looks amazing, Pinion produce some interesting stuff. 38mm is just too small for me and I'm almost relieved as recent acquisitions have drained the watch fund somewhat

There's teaching and there's educating, I can see which camp you fall in Andrew and from yiur classroom I'm sure you really engage your students. I wasnt really very academic for the sake of academia, needing ro relate to the subject or have an end goal and I too would have welcomed a teacher like y...

Re: Have a laugh with me, not at me...
Thanks for the post, I suspect there are many that live with mental illness for a time in or throughout their lives. Some in ignorance of its existence, some in denial and some aware. Your openness and the humour which you apply to the situation(s) is both refreshing and entertaining in a 'laugh wit...

There will be a few zombies quaking in their boots at the sight of that beast Guy. Really interesting and I haven't seen one before. [emoji106]Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 8:16 pm My other steel bezel acquisition of this week.

Re: Non CW of the Day
I haven’t considered one of those. I think the 19mm lugs might look a bit narrow. Note how the beads of rice bracelet widens to 20mm just after the lugs. 19mm all round might look a bit weak for shark mesh. Have to admit i hadn't considered the width or really noticed the BoR widens so much after t...

Re: Non CW of the Day
After a brief flirtation with alternative straps. I’ve realised this watch works best on its bracelet. And this sun is what I bought this watch for….. Whilst you may have decided modding isn't for you, great job on this watch. You should be proud of the end result.

Re: Purposeful regression
I was feeling similar about cars and the amount of computerised intervention/control a while ago and went for a 1960s car as my funaround. The reality wasn't quite as appealing and whilst driving it was a visceral experience, maintenance and safety were somewhat challenging. There's a happy in betw...
