Re: Clearance Returns

I ordered a watch on last NN batch few weeks ago (or may have been very start of this clearance) and it arrived in 8(ish) days! For ref was a C65 GMT Auto Black/Steel on bracelet within hours of sale start :D Whilst perfect/new condition, maybe bit small for me so straight back in box without wearin...

Re: Delivery timescales

C9 AM GT - Update for anyone waiting for their order (to arrive from Switzerland by Sept/Late Sept/Mid Oct).. Having heard nothing I chased yesterday for an update at least. Received a nice and apologetic email back from efficient CS person (CW you know who!). Apparently "the watches have arrived an...

Re: Hamilton Chrono-Matic 50 Auto Chrono

The sub dials on the Countdown do have a Heuer Autavia and Soccer (and others) elements to the markings esp the red/orange chevron but other marques also used them a bit in the 60s/70s as seen on pic of the original Countdown above though im unsure of date. I think its interesting but im still more ...

Re: “CW Research Event”

Sorry, just saw this. I was planning to be in the city that day and had some time spare.. so responded and said i could. Few days before they sent a very nice message to say I wouldn't be required to physically attend this time so I offered/agreed to help virtually if required.. dont know for sure i...

Re: CWL of the day

Ferg, every time I see a Bluebird I wish I'd persevered with the pre owned one I had for a short while or pulled the trigger on a new one when around (toyed with it for 12 months). I prefer it to the blue C7 Chrono I have in the box now.

Re: Advice please

Hi Jules Christopher Ward are an online only boutique watch brand with no dealers, it is one of the factors that enable them to offer good quality for a competitive price compared to other brands that have a store profit margin to add on. Its also why they offer such a comprehensive no quibble retur...

Re: 3 watch travel case

Thanks all, some of you guys really like your watches to travel in style 😁 I like both the roll type cases (Daines and the Wolf) and will look out for a deal on similar. The pods make sense and will order a couple to try as they would have multiple uses. Thanks Amor Vincit, ill keep an eye out in ca...

Re: 3 watch travel case

Thanks Neil That Wolf large roll is really lovely and with the help of Mr Google are available all over the place :-) I had looked at the WatchPod cases which are similar to the watchitallabout pods you linked. Some of the feedback on the WatchPods though is that the watches rattle around a bit unle...

3 watch travel case

Hi, any recommendations for a tough/quality travel case for carrying c.3 (any from 2-4) watches safely on your travels. Im fed up of taking a bigger box or separate individual cases. I've tried an ebay super cheapie before and it didn't hold up (surprise surprise). I have a canvas roll and I know so...

Re: Advice please

Hi, its really really hard to make a recommendation without a little more info so can i ask a few more questions to try and steer.. As this is a CW forum the advice is likely to be Christopher Ward focused. CWs represent really good value for very well made and designed timepieces in most categories...

Re: Delivery timescales

Hi Laird, my NN took 8 days and arrived last Sat so 1 week despatch seems about the norm on my last 2 stock items. Im also awaiting a C9 AM GT (glad they didn't wait to group the despatch). Maybe try emailing Vallen Hardy in CS, seems helpful and efficient.

Re: Delivery timescales

Hi guys, to follow up on my original query it seems expectations are broadly similar to my own. My very latest experience is as follows: Purchased a watch on NN section (so in stock), just over a week later I hadnt heard anything apart from the instant order conf. Friday last week sent an enquiry/ch...

Re: Getting old and liking gold....

Patrick, be careful... TigerChris will be telling us the wobble is an age related affliction thing like the penchant for gold
Only joking Chris, The Wobble (of a 7750)is quite a nice feeling at any age!
