Re: C7 chronograph cosc LE - blue face/yellow accents

.... - weirdly half of my blues are fun quartz designs, my Autos are nearly all black, white, grey, silver... The exception being your 'Big Blue' C9 Harrison Chrono LE. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk It was my first proper CW and i still love it, promised to give it to my ...

Re: Parts for back catalogue watches

Well it seems my OP has created some lively debate/interest which is a good thing. Im hoping if the item was a movement part or core case element that CW would be able to address it. Thankfully that's not the case (excuse the pun), I haven't needed any operational repair and Im happily wearing a ful...

Re: C7 chronograph cosc LE - blue face/yellow accents

And as this is a thread about straps for blue faced watches, lastly a gratuitous shot of a few blue faces and straps:

Re: C7 chronograph cosc LE - blue face/yellow accents

Ok, enough faffing about... For the moment its going on one of these oiled or suede: Like both and happy with quality again from WG, especially the oiled which was a bit of a punt in clearance at less than £20! Thanks again for the discount codes guys, much appreciated  IMG_20190321_094242....

Re: Dress watch - Help me decide

In a meeting with lawyer recently, he was wearing smart dress watch I was quite taken with. It was a Junghans Max Bill (do auto and quartz/black or white face/10mm ish) which can be had for CW type money especially nearly new.
Elegant but interesting... Sorry to suggest a non CW in this thread.

Re: Dress watch - Help me decide

Im afraid im not really adding, that C1 is such a perfect dress watch. I have managed both of my C9s under a double cuff.... the C1 would be 1st choice of your CW options, elegant, interesting, different. Choice of cufflinks makes a bit of a difference as does make of shirt. When i used to spend a l...

Re: Parts for back catalogue watches

Yes, the design is susceptible to nicks and i knew this when I purchased the watch as pre owned. No complaints. Hoped as much as expected that I may be able to restore. Kip, many thanks for your input and experience. Fully understand the commercials, having not been a CW customer for as long as many...

Re: Parts for back catalogue watches

Model is C7 Monte Carlo so an older model. That said I was only using these as loose examples to understand the wider position and members experience on older models. Im not complaining as its a relatively minor cosmetic only issue and just me being bit OCD 😊 Fully understand the strap and its not a...

Re: Watchgecko Sharkmesh on C60

Im liking that double weave, it would look really good on many vintage divers (nice watch bye the way)). Ido like a good mesh/Milanese though as my first serious watch (OK maybe not serious but 1st watch I'd ever had over £50) was one of the 1st Skagens and had a super comfy and smooth mesh strap.. ...

Parts for back catalogue watches

Before i start, im keen to say this is not going to be a CW customer service bashing post.. I just wandered what the general consensus was on this as over the past week Ive had 2 responses of its not a current model so we no longer stock spares. I appreciate that neither was movement or core chassis...

Re: C7 chronograph cosc LE - blue face/yellow accents

Thanks all for your input, having seen the pics of Borderman and MiniMpi I tried a few more looks (Photoshop) and i think it needs to be A) Matt and B) bit lighter in colour than the dark browns, blacks and blues, so, ive gone a bit leftfield and ordered a pale caramel nubuck/suede and a light brown...

Re: Watchgecko Sharkmesh on C60

Hi H0rati0, I generally prefer a branded buckle and did contemplate swapping on a CW bracelet clasp. After 6months I sort of forgot. 😊
On leather I nearly always swap buckles or bader if CW. Ive also been known to buy OEM buckles to fit new straps for my Heuers e.g. Corfam on Autavia.

Re: What Car do you drive??

 Guy, I tried for years to get my mum out of a Golf and into a Yeti... very good at nearly everything and driving position/headroom that would really work for her dodgy back!

Re: C7 chronograph cosc LE - blue face/yellow accents

Nice suggestions, Im absolutely loving that Aqua Terra strap, almost perfect for the 'look'... Im not sure i can justify the £195 on this particular watch though 😊.. now to find a cheaper version of that strap maybe in a matt leather.

Re: F1 2019 Motorsport Thread

What-time-is-it, amazing difference! I was only looking at. Crystal Palace the other day but the other way round. Was once a GP/race circuit, many years ago and then reverted to park... I walked around it and was amazed that the 'paths' were ever a serious circuit.
