Re: CWL of the day

Ordered at 13:50 Thursday and received at 11:00 Friday. Excellent service. As for being NN? If you say so CW? I shall be re-sizing this chap later as I’m impatient.

Re: Seiko - 140 year anniversary

The Prospex model pictured, is a very nicely made watch. Well sized/proportioned. I love my sea grey dialed version.

Re: 180 degree about turn

^^^I think that many of us have wasted cash discovering our preferences in watches so if you can fine tune a divination technique you’d be quids in.

Ferg, keep it to yourself mate but I’ve got a C65, Black dial, on bracelet, incoming tomorrow. Can’t wait. I’ve fancied this for ages but there was usually something else to edge it out of the way.

You’re a woman. You can change your mind.

Oops. Did I say that out loud?

Yes, in answer to your question. I did that with the missus. Didn’t give her a second glance until she stopped showing an interest in me! Then I had to do the chasing. Been together 38yrs now.

You should go and work for CW as a tech, unless your fix time is 4 months.
Unfortunately, my commute time would be a tad too much at circa 70 miles each way.

Open Heart Seikory.

I tried to change the capacitor on my 20yr old Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay last week but had to admit defeat, when I couldn’t get the back off. A little investment in some better (although not by much) tools and I managed it today. Quite pleased with myself. I know it’s not a big deal to some of you bu...

I don't think any bracelets have screw pins do they? I thought they were all pin and collar
The C9s of yesteryear had screws but they were a pain to work with anyway. I think all current CW bracelets use collar & pin now.

Re: Frustrating service...

There's faulty and there's faulty though. A speck of dust inside the crystal and your watch is still working and doesn't need to sit in a cupboard for weeks on end. Likewise a watch that simply needs slight regulating. I'm sure there are other examples of this. scooter Ha ha. I thought exactly the ...

Re: Frustrating service...

We've had these discussions about service times before I think? I can't understand WHY anyone should have to be without their watch for 3-4 months. When my car needs a service, I don't drop it off and then wait for the garage to bring it back when they get round to doing the job. CW pride themselve...
