Looks great on both sailcloths! Those quick release springbars are great.

@thermexman. I'm sure there's another rule that overrules the bracelet rule. :D
Was it the final rule and did it go something like this: in certain circumstances it may be necessary to ignore any or all of the above mentioned rules?

Re: Straps you never change?

I was thinking along the same lines recently Steve. I posted a pic of my Sinn 103 on it’s original steel bracelet and Guy made the comment that he thought I preferred straps. That got me thinking. I realised that, whilst I had experimented with different types of straps, on most of my watches, I hav...

Re: Non CW of the Day

Just received a Steveostraps black canvas “Yachtsman” for my new Seiko. Steveo made it to my specs so that I could use the original buckle from my Seiko and so it could be used with some Watchgecko “slim” Fatboy springbars. The quality is superb and I rather like it. 3B0CAD8C-AE4C-423A-AB5D-EA733265...

Re: Issues with c65 trident diving - Winding problems

I guess that the issue is obvious to those of us that grew up with mechanical watches rather than quartz. If mechanicals are new to you, how would you know?

Re: Are you a GoPro guy?

The quality isn’t that bad at all. I believe that YouTube does compress the quality somewhat? Having been involved in three crashes, that weren’t my fault and only getting the correct result from the insurance companies because other motorists stopped to act as witnesses for me, I now use dash cams ...

Sunny Chrono Sunday. 667B960E-4E51-467D-8B00-26DFB698DDEC.jpeg Looks good on the bracelet Steve. Thought you preferred straps though. Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk Hi Guy, I like to switch about a bit and sometimes I settle on a particular style for certain watches. For example, my orang...

Re: Forum Names

I work in an industrial boiler house and we use a thermal oil called Dyphenal, Dyphenol Oxide or DPDPO. There are various trade names for this product but being as our factory was initially owned by ICI, we used their own brand, Thermex. Thus, my boiler house is called the Thermex Boilerhouse and th...

Re: "Crown Sore"???

Prior to my becoming a watch hoarder, I used to wear one watch for approx 11 yrs before buying a new one. I always wore them on bracelets and always loosely. This would result in my constantly having to push them back up my wrist because they would rub and produce the exact same thing that you are n...
