Re: New arrival - Bulova Jetstar

Beautiful Lindsey. I went to have a look at the red dial and black dial on bracelet in the AD. But then discovered this online; however it is not available in the UK. I had to have it and so I imported it from a jewellers in Italy. Love it!!

Re: Question for the forum on Sealander

A Goldsmiths manager once said to me, when I was considering Black Bays and other watches....."don't ever settle for second best". Always save and get the watch you really want. I think this was good advice.

Best

Re: A nice story of kindness

What a lovely story. As many posters have already commented it just goes to show that there really is a lot of good in the world, and many good people too. Hats off to kind gentleman concerned. Incidentally, I’m pretty sure I know that restaurant, is it just down from Canning Circus? It is indeed! ...

Re: A nice story of kindness

Thanks for posting Professor Glenn, I am thrilled you had a great meal with your son! To explain my side a little more, I didn’t do this for any recognition on the forum or any other purpose except for it felt right. I was looking at the watch thinking to myself—I cannot possibly replace this watch...

A nice story of kindness

I’d like to report a nice story. I have had a green C3 MKII on the WTB section since February 2022. I thought I would never get one. Recently (a couple of months ago) there was a charcoal one in the sales section, but the seller’s inbox was not accepting messages. I tried and tried and in the end I ...

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?

Interesting to see the logo debate continue. So I think so much depends on the watch. For the slimline square (I have a blue one), the Christopher Ward at 9 o'clock looks so much better than the CHR. WARD at 12 o'clock. I ought to try and get a white dial one as well. I do love the squares. I think ...

Re: Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection - Released

I've read the discussion and I agree with what others have said regarding other brands such as Omega and Rolex using the name and the logo etc, and I agree with one member that these also reminded me of the Tag Autavia - it was the first thing that came into my head when I saw the release. I love th...

Re: CW C65 trident rose gold??

Well I have this watch on bracelet and I love it. It’s blingy but it is one that I would not sell. Mine runs like a dream. It was one of my first CWs and has great sentimental value. I took it all over Malaysia and on a speedboat in the South China Sea and to Thailand 4 years ago and it never let me...

Re: C63 Sealander Collection

I'd normally buy on bracelet but the green three-hander on canvas is absolutely delicious. One of the best CW have produced. I had to order one! Am sure this will turn out to be one of their most successful watches ever.

Re: Same old, Same old from CW?

It’s true that the breadth of watches on offer has reduced – but this is a good move in my view – otherwise the company ends up with a load of watches they have to put on at half price in a January frenzy -this is very bad for brand equity. Instead, they really are working out what people want and i...

Re: Exclusive CW Forum Prototype Sale

I was quick off the mark and bagged this in the prototype sale. Sorry for the delay on the pictures - there was a problem with the crown so it was back at CW having that fixed (at lighting speed I should add). The skeleton hands were a bit of a shock at first but now that I have it on bracelet, and...

Re: Loupe Summer 2018 & £100 Voucher Code

Just been scrolling through today's post on the FB Group and there seems to be around half a dozen members who have bought the C65 Vintage Diver. Don't think I have seen any similar commitments from forum members, unless I'm missing something. Guy As night be given away by my post, i have or...
