Re: Are import duties still an issue?

For those saying I'm already getting a "discount" by not paying VAT: That is not true. VAT is taxes paid to YOUR government for public services that benefit you. I shouldn't have to pay that because I'm not being benefited by that in any way For those saying I'm already getting the voucher code dis...

Re: Are import duties still an issue?

As a US resident the customs duties would bring the out of pocket costs back up to full retail price if purchased with a voucher and makes it the watch less appealing from a value perspective for me. Still a good value to be sure, but not as good as before not paying duties. Do CW put the full cost ...

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

Think it's possible to find someone to lume the twin flags with matching C1 Super-LumiNova well enough to where it looks ok and matches the rest of the face and bezel? Or is that a pipe dream?

Re: Going to give an MK3 GMT 38mm a try.

Concerning the 2mm difference in cases. It's not just the 2mm diameter difference between 42 and 40, it's also slightly thinner, 12 grams lighter, 2mm less between the lugs, as well as 2mm shorter lug to lug. In the pictures I've seen all of those things add up to a visually smaller watch for sure,...

Re: Trident Mk3 40mm...

They've sold 38 and the larger size for years, so 40mm is a departure for them. They know 38 and 42 sell relatively well, so it makes sense they would test the waters with the just the black 40mm to see how it does before committing to a full range of colors in that size, especially in a new version...

Re: Trident Mk3 40mm...

If they have sold out of the black 40mm on bracelet already I'm going to hazard a guess that we'll see other colors by the end of June.

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

^ I'm with you. I like it quite a bit too, especially in blue. The embossed flags pop much more in that color I think. Thankfully it's not available in 40mm yet since I've just bought a Damasko. :)

Re: How a Micro Brand changed the Dive watch market

I think it gives good background for those that will see the new model and maybe want more details on the brand and previous Trident models, but agree, it's not quite as detailed and polished as some of his other videos. Appears to be truly "off the cuff".

Re: Questions - Chat with Chris - Manchester GTG - 27th April 2019

Did they mention if there will be only limited colors available in the 40mm initially? I read elsewhere they planned to only do Black on black in the 40mm initially to test the waters on that size, but don't recall that being mentioned (granted, sound quality was not ideal) or seen that discussed a...

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

Thank you for those pictures! That flag bit painted or applied would have made a world of difference and is really the only "miss" for v3 in my opinion.

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 - pictures..!

Yes, you can pretty much piece it together in your minds eye. I think the only teaser we really haven't seen is how the flags look at 12 on this new dial.

Too bad about the spec under the glass of the promotional piece they sent out. Whoops.
