Wasn't so sure about the Hamtun, not sure why. Have these been shipped?
Not due until September

Looking like (at the moment), that the Newmark might not reach goal.

Sorry, it’s too early for jokes :( Consoling myself with a large Gentleman Jack

As for that FCB, don’t get me started.

Apologies for drifting off topic.

Re: Don't Mention The War........

It's such a ludicrous concept that staying away from jokes would be extremely difficult. Don’t understand your post, doesn’t grammatically make sense! [The idea of banning chat about kitchen knives] is such a ludicrous concept, that [discussing it without making jokes] would be extremely difficult....

Well, that’s the end of this thread. Descended into joke time.

Re: CW Customer Service - Time to give Up

I have removed the first name from my post, could I ask the person who quoted my post to do the same (H0rati0) Thanks Done, that's fair enough. As I remarked at the time, no malignment intended - we do not know the facts, so judgment not appropriate. Many Thanks, like you I didn’t mean any personal...

Re: CW Customer Service - Time to give Up

Isn't this getting a bit silly? Remove names and corres and the thread loses context, meaning and proof. No one is talking about removing corres, just the full name of one of the employees. The corres could be shown but with personal details blacked out. The thread would still show the valid points...

Re: SteinhartOcean Titanium 500 GMT Premium.

Yup I've got one and a pepsi too. Love the pepsi and the 500 too. I've heard the titanium marks easily but haven't noticed anything exceptional yet. Neil at chronomaster is your man. https://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=51076 I agree with Jos, I actually have that very watch on ...

Re: CW Customer Service - Time to give Up

I know it’s funny and I’ve been guilty of it myself in the past, and it’s of their own making, but isn’t it slightly sad when we make fun of a company that we are all so fond of!! :(

However, that photo is brilliant

Re: Newmark 71 Sports diver

I was 50/50 about backing this one, but I decided not to bother. Don’t know if Kickstarter is for me, I’ve got very frustrated at times already during the Hamtun to the point that the gloss has gone off it. Shame really as I also had my eye on the Akura Wayfarer due to launch next month but I don’t...

Re: Newmark 71 Sports diver

I still think it's good value at £360ish after tax. You’re probably right. It’s just that damn timescale puts me off. I waited 6 months for my Formex watches and am now 3 months away from the Hamtuns. This one would put me another 6 months from a delivery. I’m an impatient so and so, and like to op...

Possibly. Also, with no direct reference to the person involved the phrase “rats and sinking ship” springs to mind.

But wouldn't the 'retail price' also be plus VAT?
