Re: Coronavirus Vaccine.
^ Similar here for me in Canada with no underlying health issues and not being a front line worker it will likely be December or 2022. Unlike the UK we have no surplus vaccines, just a botched purchase of the vaccines from our country's governing party. Are you sure? Check this article on BBC site ...

Looking at the responses, I think some have missed the point.

Interesting Dilemma - All In or Fold
Interesting dilemma, would you go all-in or fold.
I have 4 that I couldn’t ever let go so would have to fold.

Re: Incoming! Steinhart
After umming and ahhing ever since this came on the market, I’ve finally pulled the trigger on the steinhart ocean 39 premium GMT “batman style”. I sold my 1st gen C60 GMT orange blob and Hammy Jazzmaster Viewmatic to consolidate my collection and cover the costs. Hoping it won’t take long to come,...

Re: Coronavirus Vaccine.
In the meantime, having not heard from my GP's Surgery during last week, I have this evening used the nhs.uk/covid-vaccination website to book both my appointments, the first one for Wednesday next week, at one of the local Vaccination Centres.  Guy Great news Guy, hope you get a...

Re: Coronavirus Vaccine.
^^^^ Brian we will likely take the same approach. Regardless of the specific advice with the COVID-19 vaccine, there is evidence that excessive alcohol does have an adverse impact on the immune system. As does poor diet, lack of exercise and a few other lifestyle things. Neil Good for you. We just ...

“The independent medical advisory panel for Drinkaware, the UK alcohol education charity, has also published guidance on the issue. Dr Fiona Sim, chair of the panel, said: “It’s really important to know that, even if you do drink, you’ll still benefit from having the jab, so please don’t turn it dow...

Re: Coronavirus Vaccine.
I received an NHS letter on Monday that I'm in the age group to get. There was an option to book online or my GP's Surgery will be calling me. I've chosen to support my GP's Surgery and give them the opportunity to do the job they've been given. I'm hoping they'll call me in the next week or so. Gu...

Re: Where do you get your watch knowledge from?
I mainly use the app - Watchville
If any new watches/articles catch my interest, then I dig further.
And the Forum of course. Had to say that or I’d be in trouble from the Mods.

Re: Birthday, Member Intro and New Watch Threads
I particularly agree with not commenting just to repeat what someone else had stated. In a discussion thread I would totally agree with that, Brian. People waste an awful lot of words...and don't get me started on those who quote half a thread then add "+1" However, I would argue that wishing someo...

Re: Birthday, Member Intro and New Watch Threads
Well I’m certainly guilty of not contributing to all these, but each one for different reasons. The birthday and new member welcome ones probably for no other reason than I don’t see myself as a main contributor to the forum. Sounds strange but the birthday posts seem to be for long standing or reg...

Re: Birthday, Member Intro and New Watch Threads
New Member and New Watch threads are ok for me, not so much Birthday and Anniversaries etc. No problem with others doing it, but I don’t generally bother with those. My birthday isn’t shown in my profile even tho I had a big one in December. Similarly, I don’t mention Wedding Anniversary either even...

That book was also one of my Christmas presents.
Also received “A Del Of A Life” by David Jason. Written during last years lockdown. Fantastic read if you are an OFAH fan, plus insights into his other roles too.
