Re: CW January ‘21 Sale

The C60 Abyss and Elite GMTs are both very tempting but I'm hoping for a C7 Hornet to materialise on the Clearance page. Wishful thinking?

Re: Simplified CAD models of watches to determine best size?

It is a good idea. It would require very little effort to convert a CAD model of a watch into a single, solid, STEP file. Albionphoto does have a valid point, of the finish or the colour affecting your perception of size. The only thing I would question is how the strap would be attached to it. Woul...

Re: DIY Watch Kit

Thanks Ian, I'll message Sam; asking about the experience.

I did some searching and I came across another DIY watch kit. This one is from the US and it's a rather sharp looking hand-wound pilot watch. It is currently sold out, though.

DIY Watch Kit

I came across the below website for a company that sells do-it-yourself watch kits. https://shop.diywatch.club/ This is the first time I've seen an offering like this. I am considering buying one of the models. Of course, the model I like is sold out but I noticed there is a way around that. Has any...

Re: The Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers

Commisar, I read that Bremont had bought CNC machines; I don't know how many. Have they stated if their machines will be used only to fabricate their own cases or will they be used also for others wanting some machining services (not just watch cases)? I don't know what is Bremont's annual shipment...

Re: The Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers

1) How having your stuff made in China/Switzerland or anywhere outside the UK leads to setting up as a "British Watch & Clock Maker". 2) Why, as an "Alliance of British Watch & Clock Makers" you would choose to decorate the home page of your website with a "Swiss Ma...

It is probably selling well. I've noticed other watches are now on pre-order also.

Is this new colour variant still in line with the retro look?

Re: C60 Abyss SH21 now on the website

I like that more of the movement mechanicals are visible on the dial side. Being a techie, that's a big plus for me. The bezel styling being similar to the C60 Sapphire's bezel is a nice touch but I would like it more if it was machined stainless steel, with the matching coating. A brushed surface w...

Re: C60 Abyss GMT

I like the two tone, bushed bezel; although I wonder if there should be more contrast between the two greys. I guess that would detract from the stealthy look.
Overall, I do like it but I think it would look marginally nicer if the second hand tip was red.

Upcoming releases

There will be several new C60s and, of course, the C65 Chronograph to be released in the near future. Two new additional Abyss C60s will be introduced; a GMT and an SH21 with a sapphire dial.
There will also be a 40mm titanium C60 and the LE Blue Marine Foundation C60, with a sapphire dial.
