Oooh, and a field to show the lug width please, so it's recorded to make strap buying easier without measuring again!

Re: WristCheck - Stif's mobile watchbox app project - Now live on iOS and Android!

Also, it'd be great to have a button for automatic, manual or quartz, along with the option to name the movement. I'd also really like the option to add the lift angle of the movement, to make it easier to regulate watches! If it's a quartz watch, being able to add the cell details would be a massiv...

Re: WristCheck - Stif's mobile watchbox app project - Now live on iOS and Android!

Thanks so much for this app - top work! I've been adding my watches today and am really impressed. I too would be happy to pay to remove the ads. Here are things I'd like to see implemented if possible... • Show images of the watches on the home page. This is a big one for me! • Have a 'wear it' but...

Re: Any nice 39-40mm LE models?

There is of course the CWE red sunburst Sealander LE that's mentioned in the forum, and on the Christopher Ward Enthusiasts FB group. It's a run of about 50, so very limited.

Re: FYI: CWE LE Sealander

CW have quite a record for churning out red dial watches, so it's not a exactly a novelty. One in particular I liked, was linked to an italian racing model, I believe, with a thin bezel and brown strap, this would have been with the 2nd logo. I like the dial colour of this version, but I am not sur...

Re: FYI: CWE LE Sealander

You would think more people would be interested in something that's so exclusive; the Atoll went crazy, and then ended up being flipped by some. I keep trying to maintain interest in it, but it's not easy. Cheers! Lots of people wear a blue watch, few are brave enough to wear a red one. I wouldn't ...

Re: CW Wish List

Hiya... I joined the forum ages ago, but didn't have a CW at the time and kind of drifted away. However, to celebrate my 50th birthday, and our 20th anniversary, we went to Maidenhead and I bought a Sealander Elite. Love it! Then I bought a used Trident and I'm well and truly hooked. Anyway the poin...

Re: Observations about Problems with CW Products & Services

You're right - unfortunately this has put me off. Sadly forum life is proving as dispiriting as always. Best bet is probably to make my own mind up, and stick to my own little world where only good things happen! Cheers all... I know what it's like to get worried about something not appearing to wor...

Re: Observations about Problems with CW Products & Services

I know what it's like to get worried about something not appearing to work correctly then flying off into a panic. But this does illustrate the point of how misrepresentative forums can be. I totally agree with PaulJS as I use forums in the same way typically – looking for a solution or fix to car i...

You're right, thank you! Part of that purchase will be the experience of getting a really luxurious watch too. Thanks!

Re: Anybody own a Seiko 5?

Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk

If you want a Trident, wait and get a Trident. Each cheapy you buy just takes you further away from your ultimate goal. 150 quid for a Seiko 5 is a third of the cost if the Trident in the sale, so I would wait! You're right, thank you. An...

Re: Anybody own a Seiko 5?

I hadn't looked at Orient... they do loads! Are they any good (though still know I should save for the CW). If you really want a diver look at the SKX or the Monster / Prospex. They're DEFINITELY the "real thing" and not a great deal more than a 5. Or even the Orient Mako / Ray. Yorkshire ...

Re: Anybody own a Seiko 5?

Yeah – that is what's making me resist a Seiko, knowing that I really want a Trident! Just can't afford it at the moment (though it'll be longer before I can if I buy a cheapy). If you're going to go diver route buy the CW Trident so you can sleep at night knowing you have the real thing. A number o...
