Great collection. I actually like Oris. Some very good choices.

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
From the picture above if the whole piece was chromed they would then be place on a jig in batches (tray) of say 25. Then they would be sprayed for the ‘dead squares’. Following this either while the paint was damp or dry the ‘high area’ could be polished to remove the paint. The result would high ...

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
To apply the Twin Flags is very tricky. The feet (pins) will be very tiny and difficult to pin to the dial. Given that the TF logo is bigger than the majority of the lume plots on the Aquitaine, I can't imagine it'd be too troublesome. Plus, they've already done it with the Motorsport range Kip. My...

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
I am planning a visit to CW to have a look at them all. Currently all my CW's have the original logo on.

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
Is it me or are more of the CW line up having the twin flag logo on ? I have just noticed the C60 chronograph, C60 Anthropocene GMT and C63 sealander elite. If this slow roll out continues when will the updated C60 Tridents be out? I noticed that both C60 Blue 40mm and 38mm are missing from the lin...

Re: In hindsight...was the Christopher Ward rebrand of 2016 a historic mistake?
I thought that the Super Compressor was having a new colourway added? Therefore, the dark blue has just been dropped. I am not sure where the rumour came from. My understanding was it would be a new dial colour with the white bezel. I am quite please with new look. From memory the C60 Trident was to...

Re: 2015 Forum Limited Edition Slimline - Should I Sell
I always did like the Slimline range. However, the commercial decision was obviously taken to end it. I do feel that it has slightly left a hole in the CW line up. With the new 36mm sea lander due on stream in September maybe it will be filled.
Great pictures of FLE. If it were mine I would keep it.

Re: 2015 Forum Limited Edition Slimline - Should I Sell
We all can be guilty of being ‘watch hoarders’. If it is not worn, then really it should go to someone who will. You have enjoyed it the past but the collection moves on and your tastes change. The hardest part is making the decision to either wear it or move it on. Once you have done that the rest ...

Re: A CW for my wife?
I made the mistake of taking mine to CW Towers twice. The first time she came away with a C60 Concept and the second she pre ordered the C63 Ukraine Ltd. She has now taken it upon herself to book a visit in June. So your guess is as good as mine. C65??.. Just for clarity I came away with nothing and...

Re: Manual wind watches
I do love that Zenith. With only 3315 made with that dial makes it quite rare. If it is an original strap watch it would be one of only 1100. The 420 movement must be one of my favourites.
