Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

This is getting boring now. Excuse my thoughts but time to move on now, more to worry about life. Excellent idea. You do that and those of us who want to discuss it will. The fact you are bored of it is of no concern to me whatsoever. The fact I'm not bored of it should be of no concern to you eith...

Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

Has anyone seen any evidence that sales have actually improved? As is known, CW himself said they had now reached 20k which matches the figure bandied around for the last 2/3 years, maybe more. Prior to that, the main thing I had read was that they believed the new logo had reduced the average buyi...

Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

One issue with the font on the dial, and you are willing to forgo everything else that make C Ward such a true stand out in terms of overall value and design? Yes, but it's the placement for me, not the font. As incredulous as you may be at my opinion, the look, as well as the engineering, are dete...

Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

To those who don't like the logo at 9 o'clock, I guess you'll be wanting the final series of Game of Thrones rewriting next. Ain't gonna happen. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Never watched any of GOT so I really don't care about the last episode. A bit like people who've never b...

Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

It's certainly dull but doesn't seem to be to the detriment of the brand's sales' figure and overall success. That's the same faulty logic employed by CW. Sales are up but would they have been even better without the controversial logo placement? We'll never know for sure but my suspicion is yes gi...

Re: FloridaPhil SOTC - May 2019

Thanks for your compliments. Since last posting here, the Grand Seiko diver has barely left my wrist. Prior to acquiring it I understood, intellectually, the concept and possibility of a 'one watch' collection but this is the first time I've experienced it. I know it's still the honeymoon period but...

Re: Bremont D-Type

So, being a bit of a rookie in all things Bremont, tho becoming a huge fan very quickly, I had to look up the supersonic. Wow, the movement/bridge work on that thing is unlike anything I have ever seen. Can someone tell me more? Starting price is £9,450 inc VAT.   Guy And just...

Re: Bremont D-Type

From the Bremont page:

MOVEMENT
Calibre 131/4’’’ BE-50AE automatic, 28 jewels, Glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring, 28,800bph, 42 hour power reserve. Miniaturised Jaguar D-Type steering wheel rotor.

So, basically a worked over Valjoux 7750.

Bluebird for F1 Sunday - but not as boring! I nearly sold this watch before I switched it to the bracelet. Not everyone's cup of tea but I much prefer it.

Re: Have you guys come across Google Fi mobile network?

The data costa used to be quite good for the US, they are now lagging and I''m expecting them to drop the cost at some stage but Europe has much lower cellular costs than here. It didn't used to be that way. They recently changed the service to cap data cost at $60, so that would be $2 a GB for you....

Re: Non CW of the Day

Today I’m a Paneristi IMG_1021.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Since vacationing in Florence last year and visiting their huge flagship store there, I've become more and more attracted to Panerai. I think my taste leans more towards the Radimir line though. What are your thoughts on yours Pa...
