Re: CW C1 Moonglow

Order from the US website and it is $1,935. Order from the UK website without VAT and it is £1,412.50 = $1,790 so $145 difference. Still much more than I would ever spend on a Ward. This is more like a collectors/novelty watch than something you would wear every day. Christopher's name on the dial d...

Re: Don't Mention The War........

Knives are very dangerous things and should only be used by highly trained professionals. A government-issued license should be required. And we shouldn't be allowed to talk about them. I also propose to completely ban all pictures and mentions of tridents on this forum. This includes watch pictures...

Re: CW Customer Service - Time to give Up

Forum admin team: Please take a look at this message from DISJT: http://horology.world/forums/topic/140-an-appeal-to-christopher-ward-forum-members/ I hope you will remove the full name and private emails between the CW employee and a customer from this thread. The only people to blame for this CS c...

Service cost and what is involved in a CW service

There have been some recent discussions on the CW forum and social media about the cost of servicing a watch and what is involved in a service. It appears many are quoted different prices so I figured may as well get this cleared up. As I couldn't find any information on the CW website, I sent an em...

Re: New C65 Trident Vintage Mk II

... Surprised at the price point though - more than the C65 diver. My assumption is that this is largely an increase for the forthcoming C65 quick release bracelet. With this being +£35 over the existing bracelet, which I’d guess will disappear in time. Leather strap: Mk1: £595 Mk2: £695 Bracelet: ...

Re: Sizing a bracelet

I use a hammer and pin push tools to size a bracelet. The CW bracelet isn't any more difficult than other bracelets. You can't feel how much force you're applying with that other tool. You can tap as hard as is needed to get the pin out and you know you're doing it wrong when you have to tap too har...

Re: Impatient buyer here, so do I get a track and trace email?

You mentioned they charged your credit card already and I think they only do that when they shipped it. Check your spam folders for the email or contact them for more information.

Yes, you should receive an email with a link to a website where you can get the DHL tracking information when they ship it.

Re: THIS is how it's done

Great service for a great price. That's how watch service and repair should be. The USA usually has better customer service and an attitude to get things done much faster than in Europe. I have had very good experiences with a few repairs of mechanical watches under warranty. http://horology.world/f...

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services

Is this Excessive ? No, that's not excessive, it's robbery to charge £150 for a £0.50 battery and 10 minutes of work. There is nothing to service on a quartz watch except maybe replacing gaskets. This all sounds very unprofessional and they should have standard pricing for all common service with a...
