Re: Oris Sixty-five Diver LE Honey X Revolution

Nice one Gary (as the Aussies would shout to Nathan Lyon!) Lovely dial colour, though I still prefer the 65 model with the retro numbers at 3/6/9/12. Beach is looking rather tempting, hope you're enjoying the Ashes as much as me! Hopefully see you when I'm across in '21 for the next Ashes tour. Gar...

Re: Oris Sixty-five Diver LE Honey X Revolution

Not that familiar with Oris, like the look of the watch but not so keen on the pale brown strap. The darker one looks much better, I wouldn't put it on a bracelet personally the dark strap looks great and goes with the colour of the face, and bezel perfectly.

Re: Can the forum format be changed?

I know what you mean about the thread of the day, I don't often use them, partly to be honest as I can't always be bothered taking a photo of the watch I am wearing. When I do there are rarely any comments that come back. Although there have been times when I have had replies. Maybe it's because peo...

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

Not really dreaming about it as it's not particularly expensive but I did see these when they first came out and quite like the contrast between the silver dial and the red/black, and there are some still knocking about in the US. The bezel lock 'thingy' is a bit wacky though. https://i.imgur.com/cO...

Re: CW on social media

I don’t use any social media, too many questionable people and attention seekers on there - not including you of course Guy.

Re: Do you like bronze watches?

Not at all, don’t see the appeal. Especially the one’s with those faded brown leather straps.

Have seen Ombré pictures and don’t like them either, but would be boring if we all liked the same watches.
I have a few TW Steel watches which many on here would despise, so we all have different opinions.

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition

I have watches higher than that so wouldn’t bother me, but it’s just not for me.
I am also strictly a bargain hunter and wouldn’t even consider it at that price despite how much I might like it.

I wouldn’t pay full price for any watch, good luck to those who desire one though.

Re: London GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 31st August 2019

For various reasons it’s unlikrly I will be able to attend any of these events.

It would be nice however if the audio quality was sufficient to be able to listen to what was said, having tried pretty much at each one so far the audio quality is so poor, surely they can look into that?

I’ve watched almost 30 minutes of the video on YouTube but eventually given up as I’ve struggled to hear the audio clearly. Hopefully a summary of the mani Q&A items will appear.
Agreed, had the same problem at all of them, have to be honest it kinda puts you off bothering to try.

Re: Where can I find a C11

You probably have 2 options then eBay or the sales corner on here. You will find they appear quite regularly on eBay though I know you say that's not your preferred source its your best chance.

Re: Where can I find a C11

This is the third thread you started now about the C11, might be easier for you if you just have the 1 and add your questions. In another you say you have been offered one, from where? What is the condition of the watch? There are many variations , which are you interested in? The most likely source...
