Re: C60 Concept

I know there are people here who think that CW dials have become too “fussy” and that this is a “design feature” they can’t get past.

Sounds like this isn’t going to be one of those though 😉

Re: Thank you

I hope it’s better than some of their previous bespoke designs - mind you, the bar is set pretty low so it shouldn’t be hard!

Some of the Brentford fan comments at time of launch were so funny 😂

Re: Tribus Watches

Meanwhile CW appear to have sussed out their market and price points. The new C63 seems to had a great launch and they had a limited edition that sold out in 24 hours. . . Apart from all the sales you mean? Not for nothing are they often referred to as the DFS of watch brands. Easy to pick on any b...

Re: Tribus Watches

i find it strange that they cut the lfc link so fast. The whole ESL died in 2 days, so why did they not wait for LFC to make their decision? imo Tribus would not have suffered commercially by now still being the official timekeeper for LFC. Did they do it because it was an easy way out of a terribl...

Re: Bremont to open 3 new 'boutiques'...

I was back at The Wing today and it was positively ‘buzzing’. Several people in the showroom / display area, people gathering for the afternoon tour etc. I collected my ZT/51 which was returned to me in double-quick time after some repair work and picked up a new strap for my 2P. The quality of serv...

Re: Non CW of the Day

So this arrived today. I’m not normally a huge TAG fan but some of the Heuer branded ‘vintage’ watches really are lovely.

Re: Different, interesting…

I can’t reconcile a street artist doing faces somehow….doesn’t seem to fit with the whole ethos. What ethos? :D Well..street art is a visual art produced in public spaces for public view. It’s supposed to make a statement about society. Mydogsighs specialises in using stuff he finds….in fact his we...

Re: Sandhurst or Dartmouth? If you could only have one

Personally I've always thought the Sandhurst looks a little 'generic' in design. It has the the C65 case which is probably my favourite ever CW case design but I just find it a bit uninspiring. The Dartmouth, especially in blue, stands out a bit more and feels like a more interesting design. Depends...

Re: Exclusive CW Forum Prototype Sale

Some seem to have negative feelings toward the CWA group here on the forum and in the other group but we're just another community of CW fans. Yes, I have seen quite a lot of negative feelings about CWA. Mostly around people who were barred from other groups for racist, misogynist and abusive comme...

Re: Exclusive CW Forum Prototype Sale

It would be a nice change when they made these available in an eBay or other auction. This way, eBay resellers will have to pay market value and it won't be a mad rush to grab what you can get. Or at least show what will be available before the sale starts so you can see which one you may be going ...

Re: Tribus Watches

Even so, for many people a watch of say £800 up is a considered purchase, rather than an impulse buy. That's why both CW sales, nearly new watches on eBay and similar, and high street sales often represent great buying opportunities, and it's hard to see Tribus not needing to discount from time to ...

Re: Are You Willing To Say Goodbye...

I have to admit I don’t really give a toss what a strap is made of. If it looks good and is comfortable to wear then I’m happy. I certainly don’t have any caveman macho aspirations to show my manliness by only wearing animal skins. Neither would I attempt sarcastic cheap jokes about anyone who doesn...
