Re: CW hints at what's new in 2020

A completely new Motorsport range with a simpler, lower cost, case than the previous C7’s. The current case is brilliant, it’s the dial of the mk3 that’s always been questionable. I had the mk1 Rapide quartz chronograph, white dial, and it was equally elegant and sporty. It looked more expensive tha...

Re: Branding...again

I’m a big fan of the 9:00 brand device and don’t like all the clutter at 12:00 that some brands insist on. I never look at the face of a watch to stare at the company branding. Sure it effects the overall look but I certainly don’t like over-elaborate fonts, crests, shields etc. Elliot Brown is actu...

Re: Can’t decide.

I have the CW in blue and it’s a very ‘busy’ watch.

If they were the same price I’d be tempted by the Farer but I’ve not seen or held one to be able to compare build quality and feel.

A Moonglow in the NN section might have tempted me, but I was never holding out much hope of finding one or being first to the button if one appeared. Hey ho.
Mmm, might be a ‘watch this space’ moment soon. . .

Re: A Lasting Legacy - Important News from Christopher Ward

That's sad to hear. Chris has always been very friendly and helpful to me personally. I received a personal message from him over the Xmas period about the devastating loss of my little grandson last year. Can't think of many other senior business owners who would take a personal interest in one of ...

Re: Clearance Returns

I mentioned it to Chris W earlier today and he said they’d identified the problem and were working to fix it.

Looks like some sort of scripting issue to me. Some pages half load and freeze, others show nothing and the ones that part load don’t have any working links 🤦‍♂️

Re: I Know, I Know...(Logo Opinion)

I much prefer the new brand device - just to be clear it’s not a logo! I also think the 9:00 positioning works perfectly, cleans up the face on a watch without sub-dials but with a date window. The clean look under the 12:00 really appeals to me and gives the brand a modern fresh look. I do have qui...

Re: How does the C8 Power Reserve wear?

I owned the steel one (which I much prefer over DLC in the whole C8 series). My wrist is 7.25” and I usually struggle with larger / heavier watches but could wear mine without too many issues. Although the case is on the larger size it’s relatively light weight and I found it more everyday wearable ...

Re: New 40mm Trident colour has landed

I've been hoping they sort out the name on the watch, but they can't seem to get it right. if they left the logo and got rid of the name it would be so much better. I love the current brand name device on CW watches - much prefer it to the previous version  its definitely better than the CHR.W...

New additions to clearance.
Thanks, managed to pick up a Mk3 40mm

Which colour did you get?

I wanted a blue one but only black was available when I looked so decided to buy it anyway, lol
