Re: What happened to CW?

I was in at #1 today and, yet again, the service couldn’t have been better. The annual sale has obviously taken its toll on orders and comms with people working shifts into the night to handle demand. There was even a, very orderly, queue of people to get in today as well but we were met with a smil...

Re: What size is your wrist size?

From the Facebook page poll back in March. 7.25” was the most common there.

Obviously a different sample and not mutually exclusive so there will be some overlap.

Re: C60 Trident Elite 1000 (mk3) - thoughts after a week

I’m still stuck firmly on the fence with the Elite. I saw one at the showroom but was only there to collect something else and didn’t have a lot of time to try it. I have an old wrist fracture issue that means I can’t wear anything over 100g and somewhere around 75g is just right for me. This puts ‘...

Re: Nearly New watches onsite

I went for the Bronze 43mm -- 1st Christopher Ward. Giddy-up! Thanks for the heads up, but I saw it coming and have been checking daily of late. I'd still like the Elite 1000 MK III, but watching and waiting -- Wonder if they will keep these in the line-up but maybe not COSC version? RD Was the bro...

More great service from CW support!

I see so many comments about customer service that I thought I’d share some thoughts on my recent visit. I was collecting my C8 Power Reserve that had been in for a re-casing due to a couple of small scratches. The reasons why it required the repair were nothing to do with CW (or me) but had left me...

Mine is mid-80's and the alignment is perfect. To be honest it's not even anything I'd looked at before because I always leave the second hand running because I like watching it, lol

Re: Logo at 9 o'clock poll

Interest? A large measure of derision if you trawl the watch forums - their most likely customers I would submit - offset by recognition of their products. They get panned mercilessly for their branding attempts while being recognised for their quality, complications and VFM. I have emphasized in e...

Re: Logo at 9 o'clock poll

Speaking as a marketing guy, I would not want my branding to actively put so many potential customers off my product to anything like the extent that CW's current branding does. Once again I reiterate I am not talking about forumites (who one would expect to have strong and probably conservative op...

Re: C60 Trident 316L Limited Edition - Black

First fail in the 316L range for me. I don’t really see the point in another black faced Trident. I’ve owned all of the others and thought the brightly coloured faces were an integral part of the design (although admittedly blue isn’t exactly a rare choice for a face). I loved the yellow and orange ...

Fuji. . . 56mm lens
I just love the Fuji 56mm f1.2 lens. Probably my favourite ever lens.

As it happens I’ve never tried it for any watch shots as I tend to use my 35mm f1.4 for any ‘product’ stuff.

Will definitely give it a go soon though!

Re: A Trio of Rapides

I’ve somehow amassed a collection of these as well now! Started with the white panda and blue LE COSC quartz and soon followed with the blue face auto. Then couldn’t resist the red/dlc prototype just before Xmas. After that I spotted others in the sale so bought a couple to compare - both black face...

Anyone else having problems with PM’s?

I’ve had a few issues recently when I’ve sent private messages to people and they’ve said they haven’t seen them.

I can see the message has left my outbox which would indicate they’ve been opened but the person I’ve sent them to says they haven’t received them.

Re: January Sale 2019

8 sale watches on eBay already with £150-£200 premiums.

4 from the same seller.

‘Smart’ tactic to get them listed immediately as it gives them 3 days before general public can see the true sale prices. . .
