Re: Who else thinks this way?
In my early twenties I had been dating a young lady for a couple of years, when I received the.....this relationships going nowhere, we either move it on and get engaged or I’m off to America.....I did the honourable thing and drove her to the airport :D Well done sir! I suspect that if more people...

Re: Who else thinks this way?
Of course my dilemma was to get married or not to a woman who said it’s me or the watch habit. I’m sure going to miss her!

Quite frankly a solid caseback that has excellent engraving is also very appealing.

Re: C60 Bronze 38mm
@TigerChris Haha, yes, the photos were taken at very different times under different lighting conditions. To be honest I prefer the Archimede. I love that "rusty rat rod" look! @fishman I think the Archimede is excellent value for money. Whilst it has a standard, unadorned, ETA 2824-2 mov...

Re: C60 Bronze 38mm
I'll be sure to post a pic if I do decide to dunk it in the home brew. I'll probably hold off for a couple of weeks though to see how the existing patina develops, but also just to make sure the watch is working properly. Obviously I wouldn't want to mess with it too much right now then find a prob...

Re: If you were forced to reduce your collection to one watc
The one watch only notion is a combination of fantasy and wishful thinking.

Re: C65 Trident Diver
I had a bronze C60 and blue C60, Both went back to Maidenhead within 60 days. I really tried hard to like their new design. Maybe it was the flat, little bit dull dials on both as well. I would like to try this one as well but would feel guilty to return another one and burden them with another $60...

Re: CW Field Watch
Back in January, Frank (Nordwulf) showed us all some really cool design concepts based on a C65 and while this one design is not truly a field watch it is close enough in my opinion to show a field watch influence with a bit more dress look. Also an Explorer influence as well. Cheers, Mike. https:/...

Re: C5 Malvern 595 "Air"
Well, CW replaced the watch for me and it is purring along nicely. Timekeeping is excellent and it looks elegant on the wrist. I like the understated look and its a very well built watch. I also like the beautifully polished exhibition back. I am thinking of buying a Milanese bracelet to go with it...
