Re: C60 Lympstone
The COSC certificate is in the cardboard box its delivered in, it wont fit in the actual watch box because its too big. The boxes my two Mk 2 Tridents came in were fine. Same as the other watch boxes i have, square. All of my other boxes have all the relevant paper work in for that watch, Seiko, Lon...

Re: C60 Lympstone
I have just got the Lympstone & its a great watch, but the lume once charged, lasts about 10 minutes!. And the box, is awful !!. When i get a watch i like to keep everything in the box, receipts, everything. The C.O.S C paper wont fit in the box so if you buy a second hand Lympstone if its a cou...

Re: I think i smell a Rat!
Renton, thanks for your reply. I thought as they still did a blue bezel & a black face they could of got the two together for me with little or no trouble. It could not be classed as a one off as they have produced them already. Now if the one that came up on ebay last week with paper work sayin...

I think i smell a Rat!
I stumbled in to CW watches mid 2015 & was impressed with the Trident pro. Looked a bit more & was really taken with the blue bezel black face. Looking on the CW web page I couldn't see it so made a phone call & was told it had been discontinued. Fair enough if I wanted one that badly I ...

Re: Ingersoll watches
I have always thought that Ingersoll-Rand compressors had some thing to do with the watches but I cant find a link, I think they are totally different companies. so I have learnt some thing!

Re: EBAY!!
Its just a shame that most of them come with "Stories" & they are doing you a favour letting you have it much cheaper. Now I agree CW watches are worth every penny of their RRP, but when these people have got them 50% less, then that is the RRP. Deceiving people I don't think is much o...

Re: EBAY!!
30 post rule is what it is, there's a lot more for me to be bothered about at the moment! Thought it wouldn't take as long to get there but I am sure it will be worth the wait. When I do get a Trident I dare say I wont be selling it again.

Re: EBAY!!
Think that's ebay in a nutshell. As soon as I have enough post numbers I can start looking on the forum for sale, think I will have more peace of mind. Looked on ebay again & it seems there are a lot of the green/black Trident for sale, if some one isn't on this forum it should raise some kind o...

Re: EBAY!!
Why not, I am pretty sure you wont need your life story to sell it. or may be you will keep it. But is it better to sell on the CW forum, at least you are selling to people who want it for what it is, also if your buying hopefully your buying from some one who has looked after the watch. To me &...

Re: EBAY!!
Had another look on ebay, I think Dan the number plate man is on there with the watch I am looking for, but I want the bracelet, so another £100 on top of that. I would rather get a new Black/Black & get piece of mind. And the elaborate stories that go with some of these sales seem just that, st...

Re: EBAY!!
Just thought it would be better in an auction, all that rubbish about him doing someone a favour, joke. I would of thought better of him if he would of said snooze you loose, you want it make me an offer. All the fabrication was just disingenuous, bet if he has friends they have to keep on their toe...

EBAY!!
Just looked for CH watches on ebay & what did I see, a Trident GMT brand new in box, the guy doesn't get it till mid march ....wonder why, is it because CW has just offered end of stock Trident GMT that wont be delivered till mid march. The ad then goes on to say the buyer saves £100 & the s...

Re: The Rolex thing
I like the look of a jubilee on a simple datejust, but if a replacement jubilee is close to £800 (what I have been quoted) what would an oyster be?. As I said I feel a bit daft now & wouldn't dare say any thing to my friends. They already think ive not both oars in the water & if I tell I am...
