Re: Date / no date?
The only watch I possess without a date is my Steinhart Ocean Vintage as i liked the look of it - otherwise a date or preferably day/date complication is a must have.

I read it first to psych myself up for the job(bie) in hand....

Re: NHS DIY
Definitely one person but is quite tricky to take a sample - at least the NHS Scotland one is - but a newspaper worked for me

Re: The race for Emma's wrist space
First off, Emma Raducanu...just amazing. And WHAT a smile!! But...the big watch companies are going to be looking to occupy that ultimate wrist real estate. Now who's gonna get there first? Surely it's a two horse race between Rolex and Omega. Wouldn't it be funny if she went with a G-Shock!!...

Re: Seiko Prospex 'Turtle'
Can't go wrong with a Turtle and it has a better movement than the SKX. The SKX013 is smaller than the 007 so may be better if you have smaller wrists.
The Turtle is big on paper but doesn't wear too big IMHO.

Re: 2-piece Natos?
A 2 Piece NATO is indeed known as a strap
- interesting Monday fact...but I probably won't try it...!!!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 8:42 am The secondary purpose is the second layer of strap secures the watch on the strap allowing it to be hung up on a hook, without the watch sliding down the strap - reputedly.

Re: White is the new black
The only white dials I now own - black hands or black edged hands supremely legible unlike my white C60 Trident which was almost illegible to my eyes in most light so it had to go...!!!
