Re: Replacing the bezel of a C60?

So you're saying I can't send my damaged black trident in and get it back orange with an old logo dial? James has a point. What if one damages the bezel on purpose, just to have it replaced? Better yet, sanding it all the way off so it's impossible to see what was the original bezel. I find this ex...

Replacing the bezel of a C60?

Hi gents.

Has anyone ever swapped the bezel of a C60 ?
Imagine you got an orange bezel and wanted to have a black one instead? Is this possible? Where can I get a bezel insert? Should I ask Wera from Chr. Ward ?

Thanks

I say go for it. I have owned only an Aquaracer, but their quality is top notch. I bet you won't be disappointed.

Congrats. A shark mesh in my opinion is the best option if you're looking for a steel bracelet for your Amphibia.

Re: Watch Box

This really should be me my next purchase it's a sin to have them laying in a drawer That's what I think too. Here's the box of 2 wine bottles I told earlier. I plan to use it to build a watch box. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/MB216LcFFkZN8XNY9WdbF0ri5Q1GOITzkLukMwgmKv8hqYBqbED8l_PvJD3ty3zp0FJ...

Re: Watch Box

I have a 2 wine bottle set that will turn in a watch box. The idea of using painting rolls is genius. Today I'll start to set up the box and next week I'll purchase the rolls to finish this small DIY project.

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

About a week or so ago, I spotted one of my consultant colleagues wearing a C60 GMT SKKO on black leather / orange stitching. He likes it a lot but freely admits he's "not much of a watch person" and it was a gift from his brother (who he says is is very much into watches). At almost the ...

Re: Celebs And Their Watches

Nice. But the most appropriate watch would be a chrono with a racing theme (checkered pattern maybe) and dark green dial to match his Mustang... 8) Here is one I found Bruno , Steve Mcqueen wearing the Benrus in the film Bullitt . http://i1360.photobucket.com/albums/r655/2010astimegoesby/smbullitt2_...

Re: Help with a replacement bracelet for my Vostok

I have several Vostok Amphibia and the stock braceletes are <a dirty word>. Usually I wear then with NATO straps and from what I've seen in other forums, this is the most common option with Amphibias. I also have a good quality 22mm shark mesh that looks great on any Amphibia, as long as it has 22mm...

Re: Downers Rules of Collecting

One thing that I learned pretty quickly was to worry about the watch, not a budget. When I set a budget I always got the watch closest to the one that I really wanted but still within the budget. That might not because of the budget, but because, on our initial stage (that I call hoarding instead o...

Or a black shirt with white spots - reversed panda chrono also looks nice.

Re: Bracelet adjustment

My TH Aquaracer was by far the most difficult watch to have its bracelet resized. My watchmaker took a lot more than usual, poor man.

I agree. As I said before, I've been collecting non-watch stuff for years and at the beginning we typically gather a large quantity of items and later we tend to let go most of them. I suppose that's a natural tendency in whatever collection it is.
