Re: Quick Release Spring Bar Query.

I'm not so sure about that. The QR spring bar can be taken out of a strap really easily... they're not sewn in. The trick is to pull out the end furthest away from the sprung release lever towards the end of its slot, then the bar can be withdrawn away from the slot. Sounds complicated, but it isn't...

How much longer will you have snow Korkki?
Would estimate this year all snow will gone before the 4th week of April
You must be fed up with it by now! Do like the KonTiki BTW- I was always impressed by Eterna build quality.

Re: C65 GMT Worldtimer

Even though I'm not a fan of the watch per se, I do think the screw-down crown mades a solid contribution to the overall specification which was sadly lacking in the C65 range. That's a personal observation based not on any association with water-resistance but simply of the security it brings in no...

Re: Clearance Returns

I returned a NN C60 middle of last week which was signed-for the next day. I've heard nothing from CW in terms of my refund though. I know there will be fewer people in the office but they're clearly in and selling!

Re: CWL of the day

Utterly delighted with the new 316L thanks to a flawless transaction on CWE. I had a couple of spare C60 bracelets and as an added bonus I'd forgotten that the 316L has a mostly brushed case so I've been able to match an original all-brushed bracelet (rare as the proverbial rocking-horse poop!) so i...

I had nine Emails in quick succession too. Perhaps they're trying to get to 50 posts so they can sell something

Re: Zuludiver 400 (MKII) from Watchgecko

Welcome to the forum. Interesting comments and excellent photos. Thank you. I was reading up on this strap on Watchgecko's website last week as the MkI version was in their sale. However there were some uncomplimentary reviews relating to the reliability of the clasp. Guess they have fixed that for...

Re: Day Date watches

Another Hamilton, the Khaki King is pretty legible, with full day, 40mm, 11mm thick, 80hr movement and can be found used for less than £300.

All amazing, but that thin one is jaw-dropping. VC is my Grail Brand.
Mind blown! The reveal when the thin model is rotated to show the side profile is just stunning.
