Re: Admin Team meets at CW towers

This  Can I ask, what operating system / browser you guys are using? I believe the majority of users do not suffer with this issue, so we need to try to narrow down the cause/circumstance. Personally, I use the forum via Windows 10/Chrome, iOS/Tapatalk on iPhone and both iOS/Tapatalk and iOS/...

Re: Bristol GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 2nd November 2019

^^ Hi Lance. I don't think the camera quality is at the root of the problem that people are complaining about. The core issue is the equipment needed to capture audio and video at good quality and to stream it in real time. Streaming good quality HD video and audio to a Youtube channel in near real ...

Re: Bristol GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 2nd November 2019

Chaps, it's relatively easy to record a quality video for posting later to Youtube. You can mix and adjust the sound from different microphones, use a decent HD camera and do all the post-processing you want to edit it just as you need. Glad to be proven wrong, but it's a bit harder doing a live str...

Great photo, welcome to the BB club
Thanks Patrick. I do wish the bracelet had half-links, but there are likely to be many strap opportunities!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4_mMl0B5mA Tears For Fears 30th anniversary of their Songs From The Big Chair album. They replay the entire album in a private concert. Phenomenal audio and mini documentary from a brilliant 80's band. One of my favourite TFF song's is The Working Hour, which they p...

Re: NEW - Trust Pilot review

Having seen some of the petty personal vendettas some people have against a brand (and sometimes turn up on this forum), I sometimes wonder whether online reviews can be, or are, skewed by a minor subset of people who, feeling some personal real or imaginary grievance, set out on a mission to discre...

Re: Crown wobble on 2nd position - normal?

I'm not sure I'd be worrying about that. There will likely be an O-ring on the crown stem which will act as a fulcrum about which the crown stem will 'wobble' within the tube. Here's a quick video of one of my Trident Mk2s- I'd be surprised if the Mk3 crown/tube/stem seal arrangement was any differe...

Re: Questions - Chat with Co Founders - Bristol GTG / CW Event - 2nd November 2019

(Apologies if this was asked in previous GTG's- don't worry if it has)

Can the team add any more of an update to the hints given previously about engagement, sponsorship or other initiatives with academia to reinvigorate the British watchmaking industry?
