Re: Is the 8-10 week wait for CW servicing really that bad?

I suppose it depends on the circumstances. I have two watches, both purchased in April that are currently with CW for repair under warranty. A C65 GMT that loses nearly 2 minutes a day and a C60 Chrono that is back for the second time because the Chrono hands randomly move off centre and won't reset...

Re: New Trident C60 pro 600 with green bezel

The Green Bezel C60s with black or white dials look great. I wear the white most days, and bought the black dial for my father.

Tried uploading a photo but got the message "Board attachment quota has been reached"

Re: What Car do you drive??

what-time-is-it That's a shame, sounds like the biggest problem is inconsiderate drivers. I've heard that complaint about Mitsubishi PHEVs before. Maybe all the networks should start charging a penalty if you keep your car in the charging bay once its full, like Tesla have just implemented. But it ...

Re: C9 5 Day Automatic 40mm or 43mm?

Thank you all for your posts, it looks like the 40mm is the one for me.

Now its whether to go for the SS or Regular 5 Day?

Thank you, great photos and really helpful. My wrist is also 7.25", so it looks like the 40mm for me. What do you think of the painted dial on the SS?

Re: C9 5 Day Automatic 40mm or 43mm?

I am really tempted to raise the money for one of those in 40mm, one of the two styles with the white face and blue hands. Which do you guys prefer, the sub seconds or date version? I ended up getting the SS... its sitting at the post office and i'm not back home from my business trip until saturda...

Thank you for your responses and kind wishes! BerlinCW the BHI register is very useful.

I'll take before and after photos and post them in a while.

Re: What Car do you drive??

Picked up a Tesla Model S 70D over Christmas. Love everything about it, just getting used to the range. Longest journey so far has been about 170 miles but I'm planning a return trip to Liverpool at the weekend so will need to plan in some charge stops. Quite the opposite of a CW automatic watch in...

Can anyone recommend a watch restorer?

My Father passed away over Christmas and one of his possessions was the watch given to him by my Mother for his 18th Birthday. There is no real value to the watch but I can remember him wearing it when I was a small child and would like to try and have it restored for my mother and maybe to wear mys...

Re: How Do You Store Your Watches?

Mine are split between a CW watch case, which holds 8 watches and just fits a 43mm C60 (Christmas present from my wife) and a two-watch "Time Tutelary" winder bought on Amazon. Thats more space than I have watches for, at the moment!

C9 5 Day Automatic 40mm or 43mm?

I apologise if this has been asked before. I like the C9 5 Day and I'm on the verge of ordering one from the Clearance page. But I'm undecided on the size, I have a C5 Malvern 39mm on an Alligator strap which wears very comfortably and a C60 Trident 43mm on a bracelet which while comfortable is some...

Re: Contacting CWL - Forum Members only

I'm hoping I don't have any issues in the future, and forum exclusive Watch sales sound like an interesting proposition. I'll look out for them.
