Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

I tried the Timex q this week and seem to be the only person in the watch world that didn't like it. So I've sold it on eBay (well timed sell for £1 offer) And bought one of these instead which is also popular on the Instagram watch world. And reminds me of my first interest in watches as a kid htt...

Orion, but only on a day that ends with a Y. A watch for grown-ups. In comparison the Club looks like something you’d teach the kids to tell the time on. I might look at these kids telling time watches could describe most of my favourites  Nomos club Archimede outdoor CWC g10 Stowa partitio

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

I have seriously been thinking of going down the Nomos route again. Either the 36mm Club with sapphire back: https://bladereviews.com/images/watches/img-nomos-club-sport-03.jpg Or the 35mm Orion: https://hodinkee.imgix.net/uploads/article/hero_image/650/f9134976.jpg?ixlib=rails-1.1.0&fm=jpg&q=55&au...

I've been thinking of trading my Oysterdate: https://s26.postimg.cc/ja57op4a1/RIMG0278.jpg For an Air King (borrowed picture): https://d2ok2xewd7jb6a.cloudfront.net/timepieces/photos/c902ac539f91ad24f07a3edaf19df9bb023faca0.jpg What do we think? Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

With the ridiculous prices of older 5-digit Rolex sports models, in the last couple of days I've been dreaming of a new 114060. I hated the chunky cases of the 6-digit subs when they first came out, but they're growing on me. https://deployant.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/rolex-114060-oblique-cro...

Re: Introducing the C65 Military Range - Dartmouth / Sandhurst / Cranwell

Well:  1. I no longer buy CW watches, as I rarely wear the ones I have. 2. I don’t like watches that are an homage to a notable watch from the past. 3. I generally don’t do the military thing with watches. 4. I prefer watches with a longer power reserve than 38 hours, finding 48-72 hours mor...
