Re: FLE #8 - poll #2

Hi there - long term lurker - i have not voted for white dial. As someone who wears reading glasses i require a very clear dial when glancing at a watch. Although much work has been done to enhance the hands with a black outline, I would have to see it in the flesh before committing, although realis...

Re: C4 BBMF Do I have a right to be disappointed?

Thanks for all your comments. Wera says there are no original case backs left. So I will return it as I believe that to be an integral part of the watch. I dont like CW displaying something on the website which they cannot supply. When you get into small print territory, that is a complete turn off ...

Smiffy
Any harrier slots available?

Vulcan has to be next model. A few of us visted the vulcan at Wellesbourne last year and were very well looked after on a chilly and moist day. Didnt realise until that day that pilots could get out in emegency but the other poor s0ds had no chance.

CW seem to be dropping the ball of late with cock ups with orders and delivery.
Check with email to wera using forum email for her at the very least.

That said my ad astra has no serial number.
Thanks - have emailed Wera.

Re: C4 BBMF Do I have a right to be disappointed?

it should be a numbered edition (only made 100) so you would want the number on the back at the least. did you get it in the nearly new or the 50% military sale? My mistake - it was the 50% miltary sale. And the number is 175! I would be mortified if this was my business. But I'm pretty sure we have...

C4 BBMF Do I have a right to be disappointed?

Hello, I bought the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight version of the C4 in the recent sale. I particularly liked the back plate with isignia and the "numbers" of the planes that make up the memorial flight. Ok I dont look at the back of the watch when I'm wearing it but its good to know that its the...

Re: CW new website suggestions/issues

Anyone having payment issues? I referred my colleague to CW and he saw a watch in the sale. When completing and submitting the payment details he received an on screen message to say that his details were incorrect. So he input them again, and same message. Then he received an email from his bank st...

Welcome - beautiful watch - I bought the same one with a different colour bezel. So far, touch wood, accurate to within a second over the last three days.
All the best.

Thanks Richard, its a cracker and I don't think it looks like a tin of baked beans on my wrist which had been a concern.

C60 Trident GMT 600 - 42mm

With some trepidation I pulled the proverbial trigger on the C60 GMT in the Nearly New Salon QP sale. Why trepidation? Well, for a kick off, it was a 42mm version and I really wasn't sure what it would look like. And then the pictures on the website never seem to quite match reality. But I did fancy...

Re: Vulcan XM655 group visit NOV 14 confirmed

Spot on (Stalker) Scooter, I'm the cold-looking tallish one, four from the left, thoroughly under-dressed for the conditions, envying rob's beanie. Not sure if that's a smile on my face or a grimace  . But all in all, a brilliant day, our guide was old-school, took his time and allowed our grou...

Re: Vulcan XM655 group visit NOV 14 confirmed

Thanks again to Paul for arranging this. Good to put faces to names - sorry to those I didn't get to meet.
The pub was excellent - well done Guy.
Looking forward to the group photo on their webpage in the future 8)
Oh yes, forgot about the shoes :)
All the best
