Re: Happy Birthday alexqaws!
Sorry, I just found out I missed a bunch of messages. For some reason some of the forum notifications end up in the spam folder (but not all), despite flagging the messages as "not spam" repeatedly. Anyway, for my last year's birthday (and my wife's, since they are just a few days apart) w...

Re: alexqaws - JAN 2025
Great write up, good looking collection, and well done on the DIY storage. A lovely selection of both watches and photos. A beautiful presentation of the watches and that strap drawer is something else! Great collection, and write up too! I think the Abyss is my favourite from your lineup. Impressi...

alexqaws - JAN 2025
I've been collecting for 10y, but when I first started I never imagined I will get so many watches. A few years ago I got a 10 slot box which I finally filled last year. And then, of course, I bought a few more watches, and have 2 more in the pipeline. I had 2 watch boxes already and didn't want to ...

Re: What’s ahead in 2025?
Personally, I'm designing a new watch drawer as we speak (based on an Ikea body so nothing too crazy). I already have 3 watch boxes and it turns out that they are not enough. Truth be told, one box is just with my old quartz watches, and another is just a 3 slot, so things are not really that bad, b...

Re: July Sale 2024 Thread
I'm just glad that I already have the pieces that I like from the sale. Otherwise I probably couldn't help myself, being my birthday and all. So not having to get another new watch feels almost like making money.

Re: CWL of the day
That red strap on the bottom row right side of your last picture, who's the maker? I'd love a red leather strap for my Seiko. Hope this is not against forum rules, I got that one from https://7friendsandwatches.com but I'm not sure if they sell it anymore. It's not really red, more of a sour cherry...

Re: C1 Moonphase: "My God, it's full of stars"
JasH My Moonphase arrived today. I must say, this watch clearly looks much better in real life than any photos or videos. You were right, the details on the moon look perfect to the naked eye. What I found really interesting, is the dial color. And I'm not talking about aventurine, but the actual c...
