Re: CW C1 Moonglow

I have the UTC in black and it does wear smaller than its case diameter would suggest. The steel version wore much larger than its case size suggested. With my 6.75 in wrist I can get away with (just) the black C8 UTC but the steel one, which was the one I originally wanted to buy, was totally out o...

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

^^^^^ No one uses the date on this SeaMaster certainly :D
I'm going to put it on the rubber strap this weekend and, if I remember, I'll post a picture of its summer look.

Still dreaming of this.

I have one. In fact I'm wearing it now. It is as lovely as it looks. The only downside is that it is much harder to read the date than this photo would suggest.

Re: Logo convert and an observation.

I feel sorry for your wallet/bank account. The cliche is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in many instances I find that beauty is in the hand. I never had the strong objections to the new logo that many have expressed here but I was certainly much more convinced once I saw the new logo,...

Re: Fantastic trip to the Towers

C8 Apex - Waiting list - I jumped on the bandwagon in early May. Scott acknowledged that their was already a waiting list but that the serial number I wanted (15) was still available. Now I'm just waiting for some teaser images. Why SN 15, well my C7 Apex is Nr. 15 and so it seemed appropriate that ...

Re: Fantastic trip to the Towers

I'm glad you had a great trip to the showroom. I hope you like the "Pepsi".
So the C60 Apex is stunning! I wish there were pictures. Still I'm on the shortlist and no doubt I'll see it soon enough.

@McDaWisel - Lovely watch and a fascinating story as well. Okay so it's no tale of derring do to tell the grandkids but at least the watch is always going to be memorable for you. Enjoy the watch and the holiday .

Re: If Carlsberg made watches to be unloved.......

Was I the only person (sucker) who paid full price for the SH21 C60. Oh well. It was my first CW. Now I'd at least wait for a discount voucher FOMO be damned.

Re: Exchanging Trident MK3

I am starting to worry now given the delay in the responses and no return shipping label. Is there a course of action I should take? I've normally just returned watches to CW by USPS. I haven't had any experience with their DHL returns procedure (I know I'm in the US and not Canada). I would try em...

To avoid bankruptcy buy ONE watch you like, maybe be ONE strap to compliment it .... then walk out.
Sorted.
Great advice here.

Re: Delivery times

^^^^^ Great points made by McDaWisel. If you can't get to the showroom and have Declan run your card I have found that calling CW directly generally works best. Since I'm in the US I have called both the US number and the UK number and both work fine. You're also more likely to get a better idea of ...
