Re: New CW owner confused

Jcalder68 made some good points. My experience with CW has also been uniformly positive. I continue to buy CW watches if they make something that I like. I think that CW offer good quality at fair prices. Many of their designs leave me cold but there are usually some that I want. I have yet to be co...

I'm probably not one of the "petrol head 19" either. I'm certainly a petrol head, camera nerd (thank you, wifey), mild-otaku and a watch-ist though.

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services

I guess this picks out one key issue, the setting of expectations, CW have not really said what the service level is and while this is the case, some customer expectations might understandably be unrealistic. In Singapore Rolex and AP told me the service and refurb work would take 4 weeks. Rolex & ...

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition

After some consideration (ie discussions with the Finance Director) I've decided to take the plunge on a C60 Apex. After contacting CW to enquire about reserving a serial number, four of my preferred five numbers were already taken and CS confirmed sales are going well. Looking forward to the end o...

Re: CW on social media

Slightly off topic but... Germany also had white as its racing color but this was after the Gordon Bennett cup had finished. I wonder if CW should acknowledge wikipedia for this Instagram... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_international_auto_racing_colours https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British...

Re: Are import duties still an issue?

On my last order, the below invoice with customs sticker was attached to the exterior of the shipping box. The standard DHL shipment arrived at my US doorstep in two days and no DHL or customs fees (> $800) were assessed. Perhaps the code helped expedite the process thru customs at the POE as I hav...

I like the black dial version and the bracelet is great. Not sure I like it enough to justify the price though.

Re: 1928 'digital watch'

Why do so many of these "high end" makers (Richard Mille, I'm thinking of you in particular (but not exclusively)) seem to delight in making watches so bloody difficult to read? My primary requirement with any watch is being able to tell the time at a glance. If I have to get out logarithmic tables...

Re: CW on social media

Thank you Guy for offering this. It will be helpful. I'm hoping that the November CW event will coincide with my visit to Blighty. As I'm another one who does not participate in "anti-social" media this will be very helpful.

I'm not fully aware of the details but it was claimed that Scott's LinkedIn profile said he was leaving CW. I haven't checked this myself and I didn't raise the question today.

Did you get £100 off?
125 USD as I'm in the US. I presume that you would get the 100GBP if you're in the UK.
