Re: Bel Canto Azzurro Blue LE…
Dubai was a fascinating place. I'd never spent time in that culture before. My better-half and I had a great time. We made it a holiday which happened to coincide with the first two days of DWW. She even came along to DWW for a few hours until it all got a bit too much for her :D :D I would heartily...

Re: Bel Canto Azzurro Blue LE…
@albionphoto Mark thinking about this further, I imagine that a few owners who do reserve the watch for occasions are less likely to take pics at the time. Far easier to take a pic and post, if wearing the watch when out for a walk in the countryside, than in a restaurant whilst waiting for the nex...

Re: Bel Canto Azzurro Blue LE…
I still have my Azzuro Blue Bel Canto. It doesn't get worn very often as I treat it as a special occasion watch. I wore it at WindUp and at Dubai Watch Week but it sits in its box awaiting the right time to wear it. I normally wear sports type watches and so it is always going to be a low usage watc...

Re: Gen X on the forum
Just to resurrect this thread since I found it by accident. I am Gen X and an advanced compact cassette user. I could splice a tape with the best of them. No boring C90 tapes for me an 82 minute version was the bees knees. And mine was the last year at school that couldn't use a calculator at O-level.

Re: Bel Canto is GPHG Winner!
The Petite Aiguille category is awarded to the best watch costing between CHF 2,000 and CHF 8,000. The winner was the C1 Bel Canto, Many congratulations to Mike France, the Fab FOur design team (Frank, Jorg Jr. Will and Adrian), the CW team and their partners. A very well deserved win for a fantasti...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Whilst looking at the Voutilainen stand at Watch Time NYC the lady next to me was wearing a Bel Canto Azzuro Blue. That was my first BC in the wild although I also saw another Azzuro and one of the google ones the following day. I don't think seeing Mike France wearing his BC counts.

Re: New moon phase watch
I quite like the new C1 Moonphase. I like the whimsy of no indices and the metaphor for pre-modern times of telling the time/date by the moon. The dial looks very good in real life too. Is it for me? No. I have a C9 Moonphase that has scratched the moonphase itch for life. As a whimsical dress watch...

Re: New moon phase watch
Tut, tut, tut. The official tag line was "Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate, tastes like chocolate never tasted before." I still remember the "Flake Girl."

Re: Bronze Twelve coming?
I suggested a Vanta-black version to CW some time ago. But Vanta black is exclusively licensed to H. Moser & Cie. It's also a pain to work with. I like the black version of the Halo though but 36mm would be a real step too far to the small side for me. I really like these two versions though an...

Re: CW Moonphase Competition
The current moonglow is listed as the C1 Moonglow on CW's website. I would imagine that a new moon phase would also be a C1. The C1 range has been there "dress" watch range for some time now and so this would be a logical place to put it.

Re: Bronze Twelve coming?
I wonder what the dial is going to be like? What's the best colour to compliment bronze or rose gold?

The teal does seem to be the popular choice here, doesn't it.

Re: The JOMW Watch. Erebus Origin.
Well I bought one in teal. For a total of $334 US it is not a big financial commitment. I think the comments above have said it all but I'll say it again. This watch doesn't break any new ground but there has been a lot of attention paid to the details. it's very difficult, if not impossible to be u...
