Re: Is the red, ceramic bezel going away?

^^Squalus They didn't mention spares. We've been told that CW are much more aware of the need to keep a pile of spares available as their watches age (comment made at London GTG, I think). A ceramic bezel is a tough piece of kit. I suspect that anything that can destroy a ceramic bezel will probably...

Re: C65 Black and Gold

It's also black and red gold which doesn't work as a JPS inspired livery either. It's in the retro collection though. Does that count?

Re: C65 Black and Gold

The music for the C65 B&G video should have been used in a Bond film.

It suits the watch beautifully.

Re: Is the red, ceramic bezel going away?

Thanks Steve. I'm not really into the red bezels but this might be a topic of interest for those who do want one.

Re: WindUp NYC - A CW review

Worn and Wound posted some nice pictures from WIndUp. If you show all there's even a nie one of the C60 Apex (not on my wrist though).

Is the red, ceramic bezel going away?

I listened to the Bristol GTG via YouTube. During this GTG I am sure that Mike France said that the red, ceramic bezel was going to gently fade away. The reason given (I think) was that the bezel manufacturer claimed that it was too difficult to make. Mike said that CW had offered to buy the "chemic...

Re: Holiday watch decisions

Another vote for the C8 UTC. It has two time zones (but one hour isn't that difficult),is smart enough, sporty enough and different enough to work at the MotoGP. What a great holiday. I'm going to be very jealous of the weather and the MotoGP visit. Please post a pic or two gratuitously showing a wa...

Re: CW Retro Dive Watches

Oris split their dive watches into three sections: Aquis, Divers and ProDviers. Why shouldn't CW do something similar? It seems a logical split to me and pushes the notion that the C60 and C65 are separate ranges with different characters. It's good marketing.

Planet Thread continues...
I love the color, like the word mark placement but I'm not sure I can live with the hour hand. I think I need to see more of the C60 Mk 3s before making my mind up. At least I have a showroom visit planned in the near future.

Re: Modded Speedy - Mitsukoshi yes or no?

If you like the look then I would have no problem. You've already mentioned the "integrity thing" which is a problem with a lot of modifications. If, should you come to sell it, it's clearly stated what it is then no one will get upset. You're buying it with your eyes open, there are no papers and s...

Re: C65 Trident Diver SH21 Limited Edition

Very nice Richard. The pictures hide the height of the SH21 (as does the light-catcher case) and, as a whole piece, it's a lovely piece. Enjoy it (I'm sure you will).

Re: New Quartz Trident?

At the Bristol GTG Mike France stated that the quartz movements were being phased out because CW feel that the future is mechanical watches. They don't see much demand for quartz movements. On this basis, I don't see that there is much chance of a quartz Mk 3 Trident.

Re: A few wrist shots from the Bristol GTG

The Abyss is actually very legible and cool. As is the Anthropocene. Both lovely watches. The C60 Apex is not for me. I loved the Moonglow, as I expected. But the big surprise was the Black & Gold C65, which I expected to be indifferent to. It’s stunning! :cuinlove: C65 B&G = Told you so....
