Re: SMP strap

Was recommended a Hours strap by a friend for my SMP. They are not the cheapest but are apparently worth the price. Unfortunately they don't make an 18mm version for the midsize Seamater so i went with a Haveston Nato and couldn't be happier  https://www.horusstraps.com/collections/seamast...

Re: Draken Kalahari

Mine arrived in the US on Wednesday 17th. The only difference between mine and Guy's is that I have the DLC case but no time to take photos yet. It is a real zombie thwacker though.

Re: CW c65 Automatic vs. Oris Sixty-Five (Movember)

The picture you posted is of the Oris Movember limited edition from 2017. I own one. It is a very nice watch. The picture doesn't show the rose gold plating on the hands and indices very well. It is small (40mm) with a box sapphire crystal. The back is stainless steel with a nice engraving of the Or...

Re: Anyone into G-Shocks?

I have one. It's 10 years old (or more). My GW-2510 gets worn on a regular basis in the gym. It's tough and just works. It's not my favourite watch but as a tool watch at a fair price it really can't be beaten.

Re: Anonimo Nautilo Vintage

Looks good. I like the design (size, case, hands, indices) but would need to be sure what colour the dial actually is. Web pictures seldom reflect real colours very well.

Ah, apparently I need 3 more posts to access the SC as I am a newbie!
The best advice to boost your post count is to go to the "Off topic" section and find something to post on there. Pets are popular; inevitably.

Re: Trident C60 Pro 600 vs. C65 Auto

I have a previous generation Seamaster (Ref 212, blue, no waves) and a new generation Seamaster (Ref 210). I also have a C60 blue. If I compare the C60 with the old Seamaster then I see very little reason to buy the Seamaster as, for the price, the Mk II C60 blue is very well made, comes with a quic...

Re: Questions - Chat with Chris - Manchester GTG - 27th April 2019

+1 for the question about the Aqua Terra competitor

1. Any chance of brushed ceramic bezels to change the look?
2. Do you see a trend away from larger watches (e.g., 44mm) towards the 42mm and 40mm sizes?

Re: Disappointed with Christopher Ward

[/quote] Actually CW will lose money because if it is returned in the unworn condition it is supposed to be under 60/60 they refund 100% of the price and refund return shipping, in my case from the USA, then resell it having lost shipping costs both ways. In the OP's case they could not sell it as n...

But they’re going to the moon, so surely it should be made of cheese?

Re: Tasty looking new Seiko Presage...

Maybe CW should follow with a Jacobs Cream cracker dial with HP sauce indices
A. Lange & Sohn could do a schnapps filled dial
Shinola could do a burger dial
The possibilities are endless. Is this the next trend in watch design?
Bugger retro give me food dials any time.
