Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

Noticed it on a couple of my watches. My Trident GMT is the worst offender. If I move the watch so that I'm directly looking at the face at eye level then I don't get the rotor spinning. I do this recently and it works fine. I'll get it sorted when it goes for a service. Why do I feel I have the sa...

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

Had an update from CW today, my Trident Pro will be repaired under warranty & will be with them for 5-6 weeks.
The repair will be done in Maidenhead & not sent back to Switzerland I was told.
I wait in anticipation.

I think it looks great, but like Thegreyman I have recently purchased the Tudor Pepsi GMT.

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 movement reliability

Welcome to the forum. It is quite unusual for you to have had problems, I myself have just started to have a problem with my Trident Pro 600, but I am pretty sure it will be sorted out. I have owned 6 CW watches & this is the first one I have had problems with. The problem it has is exactly the same...

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

I know it is a pain sending it back, but what bothers me is it is running really well +3 secs a day which is fantastic for a non COSC watch & I can imagine it coming back a lot worse than that as Big Elf found.

Dreaded spinning rotor

I haven't worn my Trident Vintage Pro for a couple of weeks, picked it up this morning & started to wind it & I could feel the rotor starting to spin. I had this problem with an Oris a few years ago & had to send it back for repair. I will wear it for a few days then let it run down & try to wind it...

Re: Forum Survey Results

Personally I don't think there is a lot of moaning etc on here, certainly no worse than other forums I belong to.
I do appreciate everything the admin team do though, as without you guys the forum would not operate.

Re: Not one.....but two!

Again as others have mentioned the Tudor & Rolex are potentially going to appreciate a damn site more the a CW ever will.
As I said earlier I wouldn't let them go to keep a CW no way.
Can you not get a job as a glass collector in your local pub if you really want to keep both CW's. ;-)

Congratulations on your new watches, but for the Black Bay, mmm, I don't think I would have done it

Re: Poor Service Provided by Christopher Ward

I'm no watch maker but isn't it just a question of repositioning the hand and nothing to do with a new movement or watch? Nevertheless, since the issue was the position of the hand returning it blatantly showing the problem still exists is unforgivable. Yes, it is as simple as that & certainly does...

Re: Your 2018 watch haul?

Started off adding a CW GMT to go with my Vintage, but didn't get on with it & sold it, the bezel was neither a diver nor GMT http://i.imgur.com/COe0Ubol.jpg / I then bought a Tudor GMT. https://i.imgur.com/Y7BHYFnl.jpg / Then recently added a Tag Aquaracer 500m Auto. https://i.imgur.com/whixPDwl.jpg

Re: Swapping a Quartz for an Automatic?

Welcome to the Forum, I would sell the 300 & buy a 600 or if you prefer find an old 300 Auto. A lot easier than the open heart surgery it would need. :D

I agree, it is great to get this sort of response & I think their answer explains it all.
Well done CW that is one of the reasons we buy from you.
