Re: Service

I would personally still drop Chis a line & see if he can help at all.

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

Well I finally got my Trident back today, it took about 9 weeks altogether. I have wound it & it certainly feels better so I will keep my fingers crossed. When I received it back the report shows reversing wheel & movement inspection, working time (effective) time spent 1/2 hr. Now surely it would ...

Re: C11 Titanium Elite Chronometer LE - DISASTER

Would that not be covered under the 5 year warranty if still in date?

Nothing to worried about. CW quality is impeccable. LOL. Posted this pic ini a friends store front in Texas. Not many were impressed.
I had this happen to a previous Omega Speedmaster I owned, stem & crown come adrift.

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

I must admit I do manually wind all my automatic watches after they have run down as I find this is the easiest way of setting them (I like to have them spot on as I am obsessive). I am now concerned I may be damaging my other watches by doing this. Chill - absolutely no panic required :) There is ...

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

[quote="Essex Paul" post_id=774420 time=1558013999 user_id=51313 It all depends on who you talk to, some say there is a weakness others scoff, but it's out there and doesn't go away. Sometimes I wonder if watch guys just start these rumours so they can argue - but they wouldn't...surely not.... I c...

Re: Dreaded spinning rotor

Just had an update from Customer Services, my Trident is going to be another 3 weeks with them because of the backlog, I must say I am a little bit disappointed with this news, I was told in the middle of March it would be back on my wrist within 5-6 weeks. :(

Re: The Tudor Black Bay 41 Slayer

Serious question: Is the quality of the MK2 better or the same as the Tudor? I own both & as much as I admire the MK2 it is a fantastic watch for the price, the Tudor is in a different league when it comes to quality & finish. You really need to pop to a dealer & handle a Tudor to appreciate the in...

Re: CW c65 Automatic vs. Oris Sixty-Five (Movember)

I am sure I will be in the minority here, but I actually prefer the Oris. I think the minute markers on the bezel look good, I like the lume dot on the second hand, the date looks good at 6 o clock & it has the logo where it should be. I am sure whichever one you choose you will be very happy., good...

Re: Advice for someone with a 6.5 inch / 165 mm wrist

I think the C65 Trident would be fine for you, you can always buy it & assess it as you have a 60 day return policy. Here is a pic with my 42mm Tudor GMT on my 6.5" wrist (I know this is a CW forum, but my Trident is away for repair at the mo). Good luck with whatever you decide. https://i.imgur.com...

Re: Diver shortlist and some convincing needed

Hi Dave, I have a number of Dive watches as they are my type of watch & they range from Seiko to Rolex, but I can assure you that the Trident is a solid well made watch that I would actually put on par with my Tag Aquaracer 500m which cost quite a bit more. The fact that you get 60 days to assess it...

Re: Disappointed with Christopher Ward

I agree if you have wilfully damaged it, but a scratch would not really make it lose 5 mins so in that case it is not fit for purpose. We need a fully qualified solicitor to clarify this one.    :problem: Obviously! A scratch won’t make it lose 5mins and the time loss does rend...
