Re: Non CW of the Day

The postman has brought me a new toy. Upgraded my Bremont S301 to this. Initial impressions are that this is a fantastic watch, doesn’t fit under my cuff though but that’s hardly news.

Winston & Walter woof 'TGIF, TGIF'..
Somethings that’s been bothering me for a while about the Winston and Walter picture that you regularly post.

How have you not knocked that picture off the wall when getting out of bed?

Or are you less accident prone than me?

Re: FLE #8 - Poll #5

there were a number of people who indicated that they were flexible on either choice so i would be very surprised if we could not get more than 25 buyers for 3 or 5. I am one of those who stated I was flexible. I therefore voted for all three designs. These were the guidelines set out for us and I ...

Re: FLE #8 - Poll #4

Personally I think we need to say, this is the final design, would you buy it? I would have voted to buy all of these options but only had two votes. This may have affected things if everyone who voted was of a similar mindset.

Re: Complications - the Good, the Bad and the Just Plain Daft?

Well I was only born in ‘74 and my university was on old polytechnic. Probably why it sounds so alien to me. Anyway, on to the actual question. I regularly use my chronograph to time when cooking, or the dive bezel if I’m not wearing my chrono, I know a bezel doesn’t count as a complication though. ...

Re: FLE #8 - Poll #4

With this poll having ended with only 53 votes, and assuming most people voted for two options. I suspect the low numbers are probably enough to stop this FLE from going any further? A shame but not that much of a surprise, I hope CW take some of the design ideas and put them in mainstream models. I...

Re: Complications - the Good, the Bad and the Just Plain Daft?

When I was an undergraduate we had eight week terms called Michaelmas, Hilary and Trinity. They were numbered 1st Week to 8th Week, so days were automatically Thursday of 5th Week and so on. I don’t think anyone ever really knew the date! Never confuse 8th Week with Eights Week, which is a 4-day ro...

Re: How many CW watches do you own

I have one CW in my collection, but have another two on permanent loan to my father.

Also have a Tag, a Zenith, an IWC, a Bremont and an old quartz Seiko.

Re: CWL of the day

New watch, well technically it’s for my father who has hinted he would like a watch that indicates the day. Which in reality means this is my inheritance in (hopefully) a long time in the future.

Re: Final Update (warning long read) - Advice Needed - Small Imperfection on the C65 Trident Auto

Not everyone is into social media or can be bothered to sign up to a forum. So I’m guessing there must be many more. On the CWFB forum too? As a regular visitor to both the forum and and CW Enthusiasts Facebook page, there does seem to be a much higher reporting of issues on this site than on the F...

Kip

I thought I was fairly certain what this design was including, but your text above has me questioning something.

You mention blackened handset. Can you confirm whether the hour markers are also blackened, or will these remain as standard?
