Re: C60 Bronze, raw or patinated?

I bought the patinated version and was happy with it. There seems to be a perception that buying raw allows the watch to change in appearance over time, whereas the patinated version is somehow all finished. In reality the patinated version has only started on its journey and will still continue to ...

So I went to Etsy, and tried searching for Red Rock straps, couldn't seem to find these straps. Any ideas?
Try this link

Edit: Just noticed you are in the US, whereas I have linked to the UK shop with prices in £. Hopefully it’ll still help you though.

Re: Red Rock Strap

Thanks. They are made in San Diego, not sure where the red rock name comes from.

I took a gamble with the red hoping it would match the Supermarine wording and the tip of the second hand. I’m pleased with the outcome.

Red Rock Strap

Just had my Red Rock canvas strap delivered. Bought through Etsy and I must say Dan Barr was excellent to deal with throughout and I highly recommend these if canvas straps are your thing. Anyway, here’s some photos. F91B2DFE-A7FC-48E0-9A13-A20B6AB3175D.jpeg 100F6503-4C82-440B-901E-25F59C6BB023.jpeg...

Re: Non CW of the Day

Love the Trip-Tick case on Bremont watches. It really sets them apart from the norm in my opinion.

Re: Manchester GTG - Chat with Chris - Saturday 27th April 2019

Coming from Suffolk it will be up north via A1 or M1 then M62 west, M60 and into manchester via the M602 at J12 of the M60. Iain Just realised if you look on a map, this route seems a bit daft as it appears to take you round manchester and looks a long route. Don’t be tempted to come off earlier th...

Re: Manchester GTG - Chat with Chris - Saturday 27th April 2019

Do any other forum members have suggestions for directions? I’m planning on driving up (from Suffolk) and use whatever park and ride options are available. Any advice which stops would be a good start and finish? C I personally won’t bother with a park and ride, and to be honest I don’t know of any...

Re: Non CW of the Day

It’s my running club annual awards dinner this evening. I’ve dug out my watch movement cufflinfs for their yearly outing. I’d better get a move on, that bar won’t drink itself dry.

Re: C1000 Typhoon chronograph question

I have an El Primero which goes the same thing. It’s not a typical quartz tick though, about 1/2 a second beforehand it seems to start to move slightly then spring over exactly on the minute if that makes sense.

Re: Sales Corner

Thanks for the comments Steve. I was around when the rules changes were being debated and recall many of the for and against arguements. Has there been any evidence to say whether the rules changes have had a positive or negative effect on sales corner? I suppose what I’m seeking is anecdotal eviden...

Sales Corner

I’m interested to hear if there is any feedback to the changes to the sales corner rules which took place several months ago. To recap, the old rule was any member needed a post count of 30+ to even enter sales corner, but once in they were in. This changed to 50+ posts to sell, but only 5+ to view ...

Re: watch strap question

I’ve not used any strap in the sea but the Hirsch was fine in a pool. I should add the caveat that I don’t spend long in the pool on holiday, maybe half an hour a few times a week with the daughter. I wouldn’t class it as heavy pool use therefore.
