Re: no internet at home? good thing???

I lived without TV (well I didn't have a license but I could watch DVD's) and a proper internet connection (again I had 3G on my phone for emergencies) for nearly a year when I first moved to London a few years ago. The internet is an incredibly useful tool but how often do I make the most of it? Ge...

Re: C7 Rapide Mk I & II

Great review and the legibility of the sub dials seems greatly improved, a must for a chronograph. Doesn't fare too badly in the presence of the Speedmaster either.

Re: What watch (ward or otherwise) would you get if you had

Definitely a second hand 36mm Rolex Explorer I, the least blingy of the Rolexes. Would have to be from the 90's to get it in that size though I think.

Thanks Kip, I think I will check out doing the job myself. Could be a nice project so thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Is 5 ATM adequate water resistance?

I used to regularly shower and swim with plenty of cheap 5ATM rated watches in the past and they all survived. But oddly I wouldn't even consider swimming with a more expensive watch that I treasured unless it had at least 10ATM resistance. Not worth taking the risk!

Re: C60 Trident Pro 600 review

Excellent review. I bought the trident with leather nato but after reading this I see the appeal of the bracelet. Oddly your lume looks blue too me, whereas mine is definitely green...

Re: Watch size

I think proportions are the key thing here. In addition to liking more modestly sized watches I have small wrists anyway and actually keep things under 38.5mm (oddly specific but that is the diameter of my Sinn 556). And whilst my 35mm hand wound max bill looks sensible on me it looks like a kid's w...

Re: Alternative bracelet for C60 Trident

Sorry, should have stated that I have the 38mm version! Looks like the only bracelets with 20mm lug width have polished centre links unless I am missing something. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Re: Wedding Photo new c60 GMT

Congratulations on the wedding. The watch looks great, and as said before, nicely matched to the tie. I have the red bezel as well but have found it doesn't go with everything so sometimes I have to wear a different watch. First world problems!

The first knock is always the hardest to handle but it seems you are enjoying the watch more then ever now! Perhaps I should try that with mine...

Re: C60 Trident 600 GMT

I was genuinely stuck between getting a second hand GMT master and the Trident. I know they are leagues apart in terms of cost but I think in terms of performance you can't go wrong with the C60. And whilst not cheap I'm not afraid of actually using my Trident. Congratulations on yours, it looks gre...

Re: Sinncoming

I'm a recent convert to Sinn and have been wearing a 556i for the last month. I spent two weeks in New York and when I went to change the time back to GMT the thing had only gained about 3 seconds. It is top grade eta 2824 but that is unbelievable timekeeping! Enjoy your new Sinn, it looks great.

Re: New watch by Junghans, the Junghans Spektrum Automatic

Agree with most comments here that it is pretty uninspiring. I am glad they continue to try new things but the Max Bill and Meister models, whilst not sport models, are hard to improve upon aesthetically.
