Re: Where’s CW on your ladder?

I don't think tiering by price makes sense. I have quite a mix of brands, but CW has the most in numbers, as I own 5. But most of my CWs are now older models, including the original jumping hour, so perhaps I need to get something newer to compare how they have evolved.

A rather marmite piece, I suspect. Not for me, personally, but I respect the intent.

Re: what led you to Christopher Ward?

Value for money, and a 60 month warranty. Although my first purchase was in 2012, I've owned 8 in total, but haven't bought one for 3 years.

Re: Storage of watch boxes

Some manufacturers have very large boxes - not sure they'd all hide behind books. And this isn't related to watch cost, my Hamilton's box is 3 times the size of my submariner!

Re: Storage of watch boxes

I use the Really Useful storage boxes to store all of my watch boxes. They are stackable, and I use 6 of them with a Ikea table top on top of them, and tablecloth over it, as a desk. Good solution for living in a flat with no loft!

Re: Trident C60 where would it stand?

I have two Tridents, a Omego PO, and a Rolex Submariner. Arguably, I would say the Omega presents the best value for money (not including resale), given the quality and level of innovation. I personally think Omega is currently offering some very high quality and well engineered watches for the pric...

Re: C60 Homage

Since Tudor do a Pepsi (although with a dark blue), is that a homage to Rolex? That means they are doing a homage to a watch built by their own parent company... I have two Tridents, the new Pepsi might tempt me to a third. And then we can potentially find a Chinese homage of a homage. Or something ...

Re: So as a Newb can I expect???

I haven't purchased a new CW in a few years. Do they still do significant January sales? I used to occasionally get new watches at 30 to 50% off.

Re: Sale is now on

1st time post, but I just bought my 8th CW, so not exactly new to the brand. I picked up a 38mm Trident Pro. The original Trident Pro was my first CW, and I've been looking at the smaller 600s for a while, and the sale was just too tempting a price. I also have a C2 Lido, a C6 Kingfisher (blue), an...
