Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I’m not bothered about the survey as I haven’t decided yet either. I’m just brassed off that, rather than just admit he got it wrong, he has put a long list of excuses without once just saying ‘I should have let you know, I’m sorry’. That’s all it took, simple. Since he got the funding he seems to ...

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Just wondered what the Hamtun backers thoughts were on Ross’ latest comment today? I’m gonna be honest, I think he’s made a mistake by not updating after the survey delay. The mistake I’m not bothered about, however I’ve always been a person that will hold my hands up and admit to the mistake. His ...

Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

It seems to me that you are trying to create more controversy with a subject that has had more than its share of discussion on this forum. In fact, our recent survey suggests that the majority of members have no further desire to discuss. Easily found by searching, I think you will find that it has...

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

This is a very sorry tale of woe. It’s not really that bad, it is only a watch after all. I know you’re considering a Trident yourself and I would 100% say go for it. You will honestly not be disappointed with the quality of the watch. I have 4 Tridents of differing styles myself and love them all ...

Suggest you visit the Manchester GTG later this month!
I was thinking of doing so, purely to see the new Trident MKIII, but it’s the wrong end of the country for me.

Thank you to the few of you that responded, a couple of assumptions confirmed, a couple of new thoughts, but still some unanswered questions. All a learning process and I’m starting to understand this forum a bit more all the time and what can and cannot be discussed. I’ll can’t promise to fall in ...

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

Have you got a correct timeline here? 4th April to today is six days not "a whole month" or am I reading it incorrectly? Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Yes you’ve read it incorrectly. My first message was left on the 5th March, so over a month. 3 further phone messages and 3 emai...

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

..... And just a little update for anyone interested, I emailed the CSM again on the 4th April and a whole month, 4 phone calls & 3 emails later, have I received a response? You probably know the answer, but I’ll whisper it quietly, so as not to upset or offend anyone......................... no . ...

Re: Diver shortlist and some convincing needed

I can only add to what others have said and absolutely yes you should add the Trident to your list and it should go right to the top of the list. The quality and value are outstanding. I only own Christopher Ward and a Steinhart watch and whilst I love the Steinhart, the CW quality is a step up. Wai...

https://www.ukpinkfloydexperience.com/ Went to see this Pink Floyd tribute band a couple of weeks back. Whilst not the real thing, they were absolutely fantastic and far better than I anticipated. Watching the videos on their website, they’re far better than those too! They have a new lead singer, ...

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

I have a question please, primarily for the senior members and high volume posters of this forum. As a relative newbie, I just want to understand why only 6 members saw fit to comment on the incredible generosity of a fellow forum member, namely Brian? If I was a senior member of a forum and that pl...

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

And did you add the Sellita to any of them? No, decided against it. I have other Seiko movements and I am happy with them, especially as I rotate my collection and the NH35 is accurate enough for me and my lifestyle. I might have been swayed if it came with display back as standard for the Sellita....

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Well, after seeing the pics of the Trident MK3, I think I'll be contacting Ross to see about upping my order from one H2 to two I changed mine to 2 at the last minute, as wanted the all blue and the white/titanium combination. What colour are you going for? Decisions, Decisions - I’ve ordered 3 Sup...
