Re: Customer Service - Response from CW

For reference the info came from a social media post made by the individual themselves, visible online to anyone, so they are obviously happy to discuss it online. But understand the comments made above, so happy to delete my original post.

Re: Hamtun Watches

For those of you waiting for the Hamtun Kraken and like me, deciding between the ratcheting clasp and the standard clasp, I believe the difference is shown in the two photos below. This is just my interpretation and maybe incorrect, but from all the information given, is what I believe to be the cas...

Re: Hamtun Watches

Is it just me........I really dont get who's going to need the day emblazoned across the top of the dial. I’m sure it’s not just you, but that was the main reason that I was attracted to this watch. All down to individual taste I suppose And that clasp - I've had one on a Seiko Sumo bracelet where ...

Hamtun Watches

I know there’s a few of us on here that have backed the Hamtun Kraken on Kickstarter, so I thought it was time for a new thread on Hamtun Watches. I have just taken delivery of the Hamtun Nanok watch and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with the quality, it has exceeded my expectations. I hav...

Re: Would you buy one of these as the next Forum Limited Edition?

The previous cwe version was white dial with red, may be could go for orange accents instead. This is a real rough job on rendering (I'm heading out now) but think you can get the idea. I think it really suits the grey tone on the bezel. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190726/401b43e36e5080f6c5a...

Re: Newmark 71 Sports diver

Just got 2 significant updates from Newmark which certainly makes a significant difference to me personally. 1. We have introduced a non date silver dial option for all backers (this isn't a stretch goal) so it's yet another choice at survey time! 2. After much calculation and deliberation we have ...

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I’m not bothered about the survey as I haven’t decided yet either. I’m just brassed off that, rather than just admit he got it wrong, he has put a long list of excuses without once just saying ‘I should have let you know, I’m sorry’. That’s all it took, simple. Since he got the funding he seems to ...

Re: Kickstarter: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Just wondered what the Hamtun backers thoughts were on Ross’ latest comment today? I’m gonna be honest, I think he’s made a mistake by not updating after the survey delay. The mistake I’m not bothered about, however I’ve always been a person that will hold my hands up and admit to the mistake. His ...

Re: Mk3 Trident Christopher Ward logo/txt

It seems to me that you are trying to create more controversy with a subject that has had more than its share of discussion on this forum. In fact, our recent survey suggests that the majority of members have no further desire to discuss. Easily found by searching, I think you will find that it has...

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

This is a very sorry tale of woe. It’s not really that bad, it is only a watch after all. I know you’re considering a Trident yourself and I would 100% say go for it. You will honestly not be disappointed with the quality of the watch. I have 4 Tridents of differing styles myself and love them all ...

Suggest you visit the Manchester GTG later this month!
I was thinking of doing so, purely to see the new Trident MKIII, but it’s the wrong end of the country for me.

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

Thank you to the few of you that responded, a couple of assumptions confirmed, a couple of new thoughts, but still some unanswered questions. All a learning process and I’m starting to understand this forum a bit more all the time and what can and cannot be discussed. I’ll can’t promise to fall in ...

Re: Story Of A New Watch - It’s Not An Explorer, But It’s Certainly Been On A Journey

Have you got a correct timeline here? 4th April to today is six days not "a whole month" or am I reading it incorrectly? Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Yes you’ve read it incorrectly. My first message was left on the 5th March, so over a month. 3 further phone messages and 3 emai...
