Re: Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Date Moonphase

Gorgeous watch, but at just under £11k on the bracelet, a speedy would be far more preferable ( in my very humble opinion)

Re: What is this movement like?

Guys, ordered & paid for on the bracelet (with the requisite service no. etc engraving). Looking forward to receiving in the summer, also ordered the additional strap which supposedly has the old commando dagger on the buckle ( or something like that), roll on July.

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

Nice purchase Guy, just ordered a specially commissioned Holton Royal Marines ( for serving and ex bootnecks) from Elliot Brown with a few nice Corps touches on it. £631 on the bracelet with an additional strap and the requisite engraving of service number etc. Looking forward to its arrival.

Just ordered a Bloxworth ( white face, blue bezel) on a nice blue on canvas strap
Just ordered a Canford with the ox blood strap, £178 in total, which I think is superb, sure Guy will back me up.

Very, very nice, still waiting on a suitable BBR (smiley face) popping up for myself.

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

I’ve got the GMT Royal Marines version of that Citizen - also purchased from the H. Samuel sale a few years back - it’s a great watch, perfect beater; nice size, light because of the titanium and entirely bullet proof. Mark, probably highly irregular ( sure the mods will give me a bollicking if so ...

Re: Not Incoming....It arrived :)

Cracking watch Jimbol, glad to see you've taken the plunge. If my WTB search for a smiley BBR doesn't come to fruition then I may be tempted to go for their RM argonaut model. The discount originally being offered (for ex service men) makes it incredibly good value. Wear with pride Royal.

Sailmaster? Never heard of it. [emoji38] Guy Sent from my Xperia 5 using Tapatalk I just give my watches names and create my own story instead of following marketing talk by the brand. I don't even know how to pronounce Lympstone... But if it sounds like 'limp', I can think of better names. This da...

No Guy it doesn't  unless you've completed the All Arms Commando Course and earned your green lid :silent: Gary.

Managed to bag a lovely 18mm cordovan bader strap. Now I need to try and get hold of a C30, one watch I really regret selling. I'll put in a WTB post to see if anyone has one of these wee beauties they're willing to move on. Gary.

I think they look really good. My only issue is the word "paratrooper", as an ex-marine I'm not allowed to like anything to do with that word! Gary.
