Re: Rolex a discussion
I've bought two Rolexes - an OP36 and a Milgauss - at Heathrow for RRP -20%. Last time I was there they had a few ladies watches and nothing else.

Re: Another new 321 calibre Speedmaster
Omega's pricing seems to have gone a bit mental. I paid £2255 for my brand new moonwatch in 2014; the latest version starts at £6120. That's a lot of inflation!

Re: Jumping on the Rolex ladder.
I have bought a couple of Rolexes at Heathrow - an OP36 and a Milgauss, both at the tax-free price. Whatever they have goes in the window: the guy told me he had a Daytona a few years ago which lasted 20 minutes.

I just stick one of the Amfibias on. Simultaneously very cheap and almost indestructible.

Re: Rolex a discussion
I have a few Rolexes, but I won't pay silly prices. I paid around RRP for a second-hand sub, less than RRP for a second-hand Datejust, and bought the Milgauss and the OP new, but at duty-free prices.

Re: Watchfinder Experiences
I have had pretty good experiences with Watchfinder. I bought a Rolex Explorer II back when they were cheap, then traded it at a profit for a Sub when they were going for very close to RRP. Latest purchase was a Breguet, which I bargained down to £1000 less than they were asking. When it arrived it ...

Re: What's This - Zenith/Rolex
They are similar because the first automatic Daytonas (for 12 years) used the Zenith El Primero movement.
