Re: what led you to Christopher Ward?
Wanted a swiss automatic affordable diver that was a bit similar to rolex, but it needed to be different. The c60 fit the bill initially, but after seeing the c60 orange blob gmt, the original c60 with its original colors became too similar to rolex for me. So, I waited for a sale and went with the ...

Re: Sale preview
So, this is the only place to buy a c60? And then what? So, I should spend $400 bucks for a "deal", and then spend ??? A month later when the new c60s come out? My wife will not be very understanding here.

Re: cw pilot chronograph
Regarding he c1000, is there a sweeping seconds hand? Or are registering seconds just not in the cards for this watch?

Re: cw pilot chronograph
By definition, it sure is. The cw is nice, but not what I'm looking for,
I guess there is something specific about the 3 subdials w/ day/date that appeals to me.
I also really like wearing a day/date watch.

cw pilot chronograph
i think cw needs a fleiger style pilot chronograph. similar to iwc type fleiger standard chronograph pilot.... im looking at getting an affordable homage style of this and i'd love to see what cw would put together. Obviously there are some other affordables in this territory, with the cheapest bein...

Re: Swiss Made Will Mean More In 2017
i have to second what Lavaine said. Currently, swiss made has to meet the 50% threshold. Lets hope that our watches dont fall into such a slim/borderline category, but when it comes down to it, who really cares? we know that almost everything is gonna be Swaisan anyway, so it makes no difference to ...

Re: Watch Insurance
We have separate insurance for my wife's ring and it is listed as a cash policy at the appraised value. Insurance company told me that it doesnt even matter what the item is and we would be reimbursed if stolen, lost, or whatever. i believe it can be a watch too, why not? WIthout going into exact de...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
i am the only stranger that anyone knows that wears a cw watch. As we all know, most people do not wear watches at all these days. But i do suspect this is gonna change when apple comes out with their thingie.
Hopefully, it brings good attention to "the wrist".

C60 Bezel insert replacement compatibility.
Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has ever found a compatible after market insert for the c60 trident. On paper, it looks as if the steinhart ocean 1 bezel inserts may fit the c60. They are the same size and similar shape. (And are for sale on steinharts website) However, I don't have a steinhart an...

Re: My bezel just literally fell off!!
I don't think it is fair to say there are a large percentage of problems. Although cw owners on the cw forums tend to be small, when one has a problem they are gonna look to the forum and post. Would u say that 90% of cw owners know there is a forum? I would say so. Even if not active. this is an on...

Re: Using cape cod on sapphire crystal
As someone mentioned, it is fine if there is no ar on the outside, but with ar on the outside, i would not chance if. I have had watches appear as if scuffed up, and they can sometimes appear as if u have streaks on it.

Re: USA Showroom
One would hope, but they will be your employer. once you are up and running, there is no possible way anybody with any common sense would let you chip in on anything they don't want known. If they haven't had "the talk" with you yet, they will.....(once you know more). Congratulations on y...

Re: USA Showroom
I guess kip was key to this thing. Otherwise, Why Boston and not New York?
One would think New York would attract much more of a global presence.
But Maybe this is just the first one........
