Re: When will I get my watch?
this is when someone from CW needs to come on here and explain/apologise. Which you know full well they will not do. This is an independently run forum without input or editorial control by CW. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk Was it addressed with any specificity at the GTG? Ie wh...

Re: When will I get my watch?
Their excuses don't wash with me any more, apparently my C9 AM GT has been in for some time but can't be dispatched " because others have paid for next day delivery ". This would be acceptable were it not for the fact I ordered this watch in July with an expectation that it'd be delivered...

Re: Bristol GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 2nd November 2019
No summary or transcript (that I am aware of) but I will, as usual, be posting answers to the questions that I put forward on behalf of forum members. Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Premium using Tapatalk I'm assuming Guy that you (the mods) have fed back to CW that the current YouTube setup, which I'm...

Re: Bristol GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 2nd November 2019
Come on CWL! I couldn’t decipher the first minute of the recording and gave up. There are great tripods for the camera, and YouTube videos on getting proper sound. Lack of focus on technical aspects...just another data point.
Is there a summary or transcript?

Re: When will I get my watch?
You should expect to receive a watch from CWL within 18-24 months from purchase. Seriously, I’m in the USA so expect longer times, but it never took quite this long when I subtracted time it was held in customs. Was longer than Steinhart, Squale, Gnomon etc, but not this bad. Sounds like they are fa...

Re: Questions - Chat with Co Founders - Bristol GTG / CW Event - 2nd November 2019
If allowed as a topic (ok if not if this is only to be watch hardware related): can y’all comment on the QA/CS issues that persist in spite of commitments to fix? What’s the status? Can you outline specifics that will help those of us who are hesitating to purchase till this is fixed to feel a bit b...

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services
Glad they did the right thing, but the process of getting there is a pathetic example of CS. There is nothing Kip or anybody else can say to reframe or deflect the problems in this process. I hope CW figures it out. It’s been an issue for so long now that I have my doubts though.

New CW owner confused
I bought mine before the problems started. The logo changes also chased me off. I have sold most of my CW’s at this point but kept my original C1 (NOT the new thing they call a c1) and my c7 brgle. I used to have more than 12 cw’s, so I’m no troll from Rolex etc. CW just has not shown an interest or...

Re: Advice please - Hr hand sits mid between numerals
I’d go to a reputable local shop. Too many problems with CW right now to trust that you won’t get a blueberry pie returned instead of your watch. Or they’ll package it such that it bangs around inside the clamshell.

Re: Bad experience with Christopher ward watch and it's customer services
There's something seriously wrong with their communications if they don't know about the dial. It was mentioned on the return form to the extent of pinpointing where the flaw is. Asking about it several times through email got no response and I'll be honest, I'm expecting it to come back untouched....

My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!
Glad it resolved correctly, but a shame you had to go around your elbow to get to your thumb. In spite of the positive outcome, this is a failure of CS at CW. It should not be this difficult to get the right thing done. This CS issue has gone on long enough that it ought to have been resolved well b...

Re: My C65 Trident GMT isn't waterproof!
My take on this situation is: If the watch failed a pressure test when CW received it, then they should put it right under warranty. Probably a replacement watch, as so many internal parts, not just the movement, will have been contaminated by seawater. If the watch passed a pressure test when CW r...

Re: Slight QC issue, need advice please
That looks terrible and I wouldn’t stand for that kind sort of sloppy work on a nice watch. I’d notice it every time I put it one. Definitely get a new one. If that one also has sloppy workmanship I’d get a refund and shop around a bit. Fingers crossed that the new plans MF has mentioned help get th...
