Re: C65 Aquitaine Collection - Released
C65 Aquitaine collection is certainly one of CW’s more visually appealing offerings. I can’t help noticing a passing verisimilitude to Rado’s Captain Cook range in particular the bezel and the triangular shaped hour markers at 3,9 and 12 hours . Well done CW, you may have another winner here

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
I seemed to have provoked a healthy if peeved debate on the subject of watch case size with reference to the new Sealander being better suited to a smaller wrist size which is apparently now the trend. It was remarked that the new Sealander case size of 39mm wears as large as a 43mm which seems impr...

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
Joking apart small faced watches are not for me, with ateliers moving in the direction towards shrinking dials of the past. At 42mm case size would I think be the ideal size that would suit most (men's) wrists. As stated earlier I think this new collection is one of CW's better designs ( very few of...

On my wrist that outsized watch on your wrist would look balanced and in perfect proportion

Re: C63 Sealander Collection
The new C63 Sealander Collection is certainly one of CW’s better design creations. I am wondering if this collection is intended for the female wrist. I am also wondering if CW intends to inflate the case size to fit a man’s wrist!

Re: That super compressor
There has been much excitement since the launch of the Super Compressor which is a welcome departure from the DNA design all too familiar in the oeuvre of CW. I like this watch and I have one, and like some other high end watch brands other notable watch ateliers have taken their clues in designing ...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
From a visual view point the new C60 Blue LE is aesthetically pleasing and I love the groovy deep blue dial. This is a CW I wouldn’t hesitate to buy if only it came in 42-43mm case size . At 40mm it is too small on my wrist and I’ll just have to admire it from afar .

Re: C65 Chronograph - New Release October '20
The new C65 Chronograph has generally an aesthetically pleasing appearance but I think it would have a more impressive visual impact if the case size was between 42.5 - 43 mm. Perhaps CW should look how Omega achieved elegance and presence with their twin sub dial Seamaster offering.

Re: Its what we've all been waiting for . . . .. .
There is nothing remarkable about this watch, just another generic offing in a market already overpopulated with chronograph style watches from any number of watchmakers. I think it would be better proportioned in a 43mm case as there is a lot of detail on this dial which seems to me a tad cluttered...

Re: Trident GMT running slower and slower
I am no expert in these matters, but I would imagine in the construction of modern watches there is a ISO standard incorporated in the watch design to withstand varying degrees of high magnetic fields. This would certainly be the case in diver’s watches. If this putatively is happening in a batch of...

C65 Super Compressor Timing Accuracy
I note some of you have purchased the C65 Super Compressor and my question is directed to those owners who can attest to the timing accuracy of their watches as i am rather partial to acquiring one myself. I have other watches from well known ateliers who use the very reliable Sellita SW200-1 moveme...

Re: C9 Harrison Jumping Hour
I have one, and it looks more exquisite with each wearing. It is a watch you can have a love affair with. It keeps time very accurately and exudes the kind of quality you would associate with some of the more rarified brands.Probably the best watch from the CW stables and I have several.

Just how silvery is the dial on the C9 auto!
I'm drawn to the simplistic elegance of the C9 auto and although not a huge fan of silver dialled watches, I would like to know just how the silver coloured dial appears under different lighting conditions, viz; worn under normal daylight. For those members who also possess the C9 Jumping Hour how d...

Re: C9 FLE Number 11
I would just like to thank "downer" for his first rate photos. I find myself drawn to the simplistic elegance of the C9 auto with the silver dial, and as some of you already have this watch,I would like to know just how silvery is the dial?. For instance, is the dial colour similar to the ...
