C11 Makaira Pro

Still one of the favourites in my collection; built like a tank, incredibly legible and super comfortable on the wrist. Definitely a CW classic...

Re: Watch Brand Project

I own an Aegir dive watch, which is an Australian brand that definitely needs to be on the list-

Here's a pic I took of my CD-1.

Re: What will happen to your watches...

I always had the idea that I would leave one watch to each of my two sons. I have a lot of watches to sell before I croak

Re: At what price point does a watch become 'luxury'?

Beater is not a term I would use for any watch. If I am doing something that can scratch or badly damage a watch I will take it off . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk True. I wear my Rolex Sub everyday, for almost everything I do, but at the same time I am aware of not damaging it. The only watch...
Is it not more to do with the suuden change in pressure if you dived headfirst from a height rather than the actual depth of water above your watch?
This is true. I've unfortunately had one of my favourite Seiko divers fail while only snorkelling. Water got in and it's now stuffed :?

Don't sweat it. A similar worry on the Rolex forums re the crown on the crown being upright (It's interesting to note though that Rolex always have the crown upright for publicity shots). These Google search photos show my point. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll24/wolffram1/crown_zpstglodxdc.jp...

Disappointing profiteering on eBay

I know there's nothing illegal going on, but I'm just so sick of seeing the eBay auctions pop up like clockwork every time CW has a half price sale. While it's a fantastic opportunity for collectors to buy direct form CW, I hate the fact that others are buying just to profit. I missed out on a GMT o...

Re: If you could start again from scratch...?

My goal since being 'forced' into retirement has been to simplify my life. To this end I have been whittling down my material possessions, not the least of which has been my watch collection, (I've sold over 30 watches now). So, if I could start again I would buy my Rolex Sub again, and that's it. J...
