Re: Poll: Chr.Ward movements .. being more specific?

All the best everyone trying to fathom this out. Try Steinhart ..plenty of transparency there and no need for 'smoke and mirrors'. Good luck.

Re: Poll: Chr.Ward movements .. being more specific?

^^Hasnt Kip answered that? CW have decided not to do that (clearly), and it seems they have no intention of changing. Yes. "to market this way" means to "communicate with the customers this way". Communication means advertising, phone contact, documentation... CW are consistent ...

Re: Poll: Chr.Ward movements .. being more specific?

^^Hasnt Kip answered that? CW have decided not to do that (clearly), and it seems they have no intention of changing. No. Kip has stated why CW choses to say, in their marketing, that the watch in question will have either an ETA or a Selita movement. The poll is not about giving customers a choice...

Re: Poll: Chr.Ward movements .. being more specific?

And that's fine Kip, but this thread is asking if we would like to see the movement, specific to each serial number, annotated in the handbook? So far the poll is indicating that most who have voted would. This is of course is CWL's choice whether to do this or not, but if I was to contact them coul...

Re: Poll: Chr.Ward movements .. being more specific?

I wish we could know which movement but whatever. If you need to be so sure I'd step-up to a model that specially tells you what it is, such as the Trident GMT or Slimline Square. As we are, mostly, talking about the C60 auto here (starting at £599) then to buy a Slimline would, in effect, price wi...

Re: 'Nearly new'

They're just trolls, ignore them. They have nothing of value to lend other than throw insults, again. Madjam, eh??? Why am I a troll? Someone else puts a quote of a few words of my post underneath an (unrelated) quote of a few words by you and suddenly I'm a troll? When have I ever thrown an...

Re: 'Nearly new'

Maybe a simple line on the product page of an NN item to describe its general condition would suffice? Yeah, that would be so easy with the potential quantities of various models that build up before each sale. I think that the vast majority here get this 60/60 and nearly new thing, its just a mino...

Re: 'Nearly new'

You know my feeling is that just because one member of the forum has a lot of questions it's not really ok to attack them or roll eyes at them really is it? Just because it might frustrate some of you maybe the best bet is to simply not respond to those threads and move onto the next thread? Sounds...

Re: Poll: Chr.Ward movements .. being more specific?

And that's why I think CW had better stick to Sellita movements. Does anyone actually know how many percent of the Tridents have ETA movements? Is it 50% Sellita and 50% ETA or 90% Sellita and 10% ETA? I know it's a very small sample size, but of my four CW watches within the either/or category bou...
